"We had a great stay at parrot key. We loved the waterfront king bed room we had. We got engaged in the keys on this trip, and Parrot key was an excellent place to stay. My only negative experience was prior to the visit, where we booked directly with them months in advance and got a confirmation email, and had added my credit card info. A month before I emailed them to ask to purchase a room upgrade, and they said my room was cancelled as the payment had not gone through. I've. Worked years in hotels, an must admit this was the most uncomfortable experience I've had, as they never reached out to check in with me, and the cancellation email got straight to spam folder. Hence, my stay got significantly more expensive, and we was considering to find another place. However glad we stayed at parrot key after all, the room was lovely, the pool area was great, good cocktails and the jetski tour at the hotel is a must do! Cute cats and racoons running around too!"
