«Lovely place, just off a main road so a handy break in my trip from Poprad Tatry Airport to Hlinne. Staff were friendly and helpful - and they spoke English, which was a definite advantage for me. They also have English menus. My previous stay, somewhere with no English menus or speakers, wasn't pleasant, but this stay was. Before anyone comments. I was in their country so they didn't have to speak English or have English menus - but it helps. »

«This property encompasses a couple of buildings and a large backyard. There is an open air restaurant on site for food and beverages. The friendly staff speaks English which was very helpful. «I loved staying at this iconic hotel. The room was great - I got a free upgrade - even though the bathroom setup was a little untraditional. Excellent bed. And what a view! Had the dinner buffet, which was sensational. Slovak comfort food! Breakfast was also good. Did the fairly short walk around the lake next to the hotel, and the view across that towards the hotel and the Tatra Mountains behind was nothing short of epic. What a location! «We enjoyed our stay at the Greenwood hotel. It was slightly hard to find even with the instructions provided by the hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and we felt really welcome. The room was spotlessly clean and modern. The curtains could be better, though; they were very thin. The breakfast buffet was simle, but sufficient.
