Lack of adjacent houses make it seem like a totally private north woods experience (bear, deer, many Bald Eagles and one elk spotted from the deck), Would have liked a bathroom on the second floor for the two bedrooms that are not the master suite, as the only second floor bath is in the master suite and therefore unsuitable for others to use during sleeping hours. «This cottage has loads of character. Tony and Kathy were welcoming hosts. The cottage was immaculately clean and thought has been put into the design of every room. We enjoyed watching whales, seals, and sea lions. The kids enjoyed playing badminton when they weren’t skipping stones. This a great base from which to explore Powell River and Lund.»

«Very clean and tastefully decorated. Beds were comfortable. Well kitted out with appliances, cultlery and everything you might need. Parking on site for one vehicle, so if you are comfortable parking 2nd vehicle on the street, then it works well. Also not amenable to electric vehicles as there was no exterior outlet for charging an all electric. We loved the wood stove, which was very cozy and warm. «OK, met our needs, 9 family, 5 adults, 4 grandchildren, all teenagers. refrigerator not clean, cobwebs in bedroom corners, lack of some towels in some bathrooms, sink restricted in master ensuite, only one toilet paper in each bathroom, only one roll of paper towels, no kettle to boil water. Overall, a nice location and nice house, pricey for not being super clean, did meet our needs and host was very accommodating with the key, the timing and the phone number if there was an issue. Thank you.»

«Stacey was very accommodating and the inside off the property was beautiful and tasteful. The area was a little far from everything and not walkable. She has 2 big dogs that barked every time our dog would step foot outside, but they never bothered us. Less privacy than expected as the door faces their driveway. No sink in kitchenette, so having to do dishes in small bathroom sink. The hot tub was amazing! Beds super comfortable!»
