«Ok typisk engelsk, savnet litt pålegg»

«Lovely modern room in restored old building. Staff were helpful, and both dinner and breakfast in the pub were great.»

«Disappointing that the breakfast description from reviews was "with some guests finding it plentiful and others appreciating the free and simple offering" it was more on the simple side, as in it was a selection of cereal and some bread to do toast, and with Orange and Apple Juice options and the usual Tea/Coffee. Also on the pictures, number 8 (as I type this) implied a goody bag was provided, but wasn't. Particularly, it looked like a yoghurt pot. There wasn't even yoghurt provided at ...

«We stayed at the Fox for 1 night and the staff made us and our dog feel very welcome. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed comfortable and the breakfast delicious. Thank you all at the Fox. We’ll hopefully see you again.»

«A very comfortable country pub, with great food, top chef and well kept beer. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. My room was a tad small and basic but the bathroom was modern and hey this is a 16th century building and I enjoyed my stay.»

«this was not very clean. next to a higway and a petrol station. no food and not possible for breakfast»

«Supert hotell, med vennlig og hjelpsom betjening. Fine rom og god frokost. Vi kommer tilbake. »

«Rommet eg budde på var rent men litt gammeldags, knapper som ikke fungerte på lysene, dårlige dører inn til rommet, burde kanskje pusset opp visse plasser. Frokosten var god og enkel. Viss man ikke har bil så er det et lite stykke med bil ned til sentrum, men var ok pris med Uber.»

«The hotel was without aircondition during the warmest months of the summer, and this was not informed about. When I asked why, I was told that the management had desided to upgrade the aircntition system for the hotel. Will be back in service in November 2026»

«The description of the Nuffield Health facility as a spa is somewhat misleading - it’s a sports club with a pool used for (noisy) swimming lessons, there is nothing relaxing about it as there are just 3 “beds” to sit on around the pool, and members make an issue of anyone having left a towel on there for just a few minutes (rudely removing it and taking the bed for their own use).»

«My favorite place to stay so far in my travels. The location was perfect for walking to train station and all kids of shops. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was so nice, cute decor & very clean. The large bathtub was a huge bonus! Will stay here again»

«Hyggelig hotell, god seng, men litt for varmt på rommet. Hyggelige fellesområder, grei frokost.»

«Hadde en natt på dette hotellet, men kunne godt hatt flere. Senga var utrolig behagelig! God beliggenhet for oss mtp hvor vi feiret nyttårsaften, kun 200 m fra lokale. Pluss det var gratis parkering på hotellet:)»

«Overnattet her i 4 netter.

«Hi..it is a genuine spa-hotel...not a hotel with a spa. Healthy food (but also wine etc..) and it was delicious. Staff and amenities were solid and the rooms were 'fine' nothing over the top...but they do have Elemis lotions and creams in massive containers to use so even if you're not in the spa you feel like you are !!!»
