«We were not too happy about this hotel. The rooms are very outdated. The furniture was old and needed a good cleaning. There was that divider in the middle of the room with ONE chair to sit at. The television had a blue tint so you could not tell what any colors should be. The ice machine in the hallway was broken. We went out for the day and left the Do Not Disturb on the door only to come back to the room to the refrigerator being turned off and we had perishable food in it. We noticed ...

«We frequently stay at Hampton Inns because they are consistently good. This is the second time we stayed at the one in Benson, NC. Our room was huge and exceptionally clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typically good and varied though I missed having something chocolate (like chocolate muffin :-). Two things could have been better. «The fire alarms went off at 3:45 am and when we saw the smoke in the hallway we exited the hotel and waited outside until the fire dept told us we could go back in (about 45 minutes). The employee on duty never said a word to the guests about the incident. The next morning the woman checking us out acted like she didn’t even know it happened. We received no directions/instructions, no explanations, no apologies. Not a good experience.»

«VERY, VERY upset with both Expedia and My Place Hotel. Reserved the handicap room, got confirmation of success and was told this was not booked on checkin. So, I have 2 parents (88 & 89) with walkers afraid of elevators and I have to take them to the 3rd floor. Could not even get a ground floor room. Will never come back here again. NO effort was even taken to do anything different. And now we find a 2 inch blood stain on the carpet in our room 3 different spots. If this was not a ...
