The Space:

Schantzis on the Gulf is a beautiful home-away-from-home beach condo on the intracoastal.

From our family to yours.... We have gone to great lengths to ensure that Schantzis on the Gulf will leave you comfortable and relaxed, offering you the perfect home base for your time in Clearwater Beach. From sunrise to sunset, our home is bright and airy. Enjoy watching breathtaking sunrises over the Clearwater bridge through the living room's panoramic windows or from the comfort of our East-facing patio chairs. And when sunset comes, swing around to the South side of our large, well-appointed patio. Indoors, our home boasts a roomy 1800+sf with 3 elegantly decorated bedrooms, each with its own smart streaming TV and DVD player, and 2 whimsical bathrooms, one with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower and the other with a tub/shower combo. With a king, a queen, and two twin beds, our home comfortably sleeps 6. And with two hotel-grade roll-away beds and a porta-crib, a few extra children can make themselves at home. Our spacious kitchen has all the appliances and kitchen gadgets needed to prepare a gourmet dinner or a wholesome holiday feast. Wifi is accessible throughout and on the patio. We are easily accessible on the 2nd floor, just above the covered ground-level parking area, with direct access via the stairwell on the south side of the building or elevator in the lobby (your parking pass will be waiting for you when you arrive). You will enjoy amazing views of the intracoastal waterway, where you'll see dolphins swimming, schools of fish and the occasional manatee. The pool is readily accessed from the patio. And a gas grill is available for your use. But as much as you will love it here, we know how important your beach days will be—check out the closet in the second bedroom, which is stocked with beach toys, a cart, coolers, floats and a beach tent. Upon your return, you can use the wash-up area near the lobby entrance to wash off the sand; toss your things in the full-size washer dryer in our laundry room; and be ready for whatever the next day brings.

Yet another great stay!

Our 3rd year in a row at the property while visiting Clearwater Beach. It’s our 3rd year in a row staying at the property for a reason, it’s fantastic! The the host is fantastic at communicating very promptly, the property is very nice and in great condition, and it’s a great location to be able to walk to everything. Highly likely we’ll be back for a 4th year in a row.

Can’t wait to come back!

We fell in love with this condo! Even the pictures do not do the condo justice! The condo is very spacious and clean, the decor is beautiful, and the panoramic windows look out to a stunning view of the marina. Kim also provides every amenity imaginable and has a closet full of beach gear. This condo is in a perfect location between the pier, beach, shops, and restaurants. We came to Clearwater for the Ravens game and almost cancelled our visit because of the tragedies this lovely town suffered. Kim was absolutely amazing in letting us know the status of her home amidst Hurricanes Helene and Milton. She let us know what was open and was quick and thoughtful in her communication prior to the visit. Some shops and restaurants we recommend and that were open when we went on our trip include: Parlor Donuts (right across the street!), Surfside Taphouse, Ron Jon Surf Shop, and Crabby's Bar and Grill. Clearwater is like a second home to me. I have been here so many times, but I plan on staying at Kim's place whenever I return! Thanks again for everything, Kim! :)

Clearwater Dockside vacation condo

The house was beautiful. Pictures don’t do it justice. The house was the most stocked of anywhere we have ever stayed. As long as you brought a toothbrush, everything else was provided for you.

Great getaway minus the pesky construction

Pros: The condo was beautiful, well appointed, and within walking distance to almost EVERYTHING and just a short drive to others. 10/10 for convenience. Kim was very attentive and always just a text away. Large balcony area with plenty of seating, overlooking the beautiful bay. Clean pool with heated water for the days the ocean was way too cold CONS: Large balcony area that was unique to our unit was commonly used by other guests. There was no marking of the area so we had to constantly tell others that the area was for our use only. Most of the time we allowed the other guests to stay but at times had to ask them to leave due to noice and smoking. Construction began above us day two of our vacation. Beginning at 9 am we got to hear banging and yelling. When booking, construction was never mentioned, we just woke up to stomping and banging above us. We tried to stay out of the unit most of the day to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Had we decided to just have a peaceful day inside, we would have had to endure lots of noise. Most of the parking was roped off due to construction hazard so we really had to decide if we wanted to drive somewhere and risk not finding a parking spot when we returned.

We had a great week staying at the condo in Clearwater. Great location central to everything steps out the door. Great patio to hang out on. Amazing property

This property was in like new condition. Well stocked with linens, appliances in kitchen. The location was within walking distance of much or the restaurants and nightlife in Clearwater beach. Easy walk to the beach itself and marina if you plan to fish. Great access to outdoor spaces. Amazing view of sunrise in the front window. Really could not have asked for more. Family Vacation

The condo was perfect for our needs and is in excellent condition. It was very helpful to have a lot of kid things available in the condo so didn’t have to travel with that stuff. Great location for the beach, restaurants, etc.
