THE CORAL RESORT WATERFRONT OASIS

A classic low-rise “Old Florida” resort set directly on the picturesque Intracoastal Waterway, blending original character with updated amenities. Five small turquoise buildings wrap around a single sunlit pool deck and courtyard. There are only a handful of units in total, so it never feels crowded the way the high-rise hotels a block over do. The courtyard opens straight onto the resort's private dock, with open bay, passing boats and marina views in every direction. Step outside to a heated pool, a private fishing dock, and a grill-side patio, with the Gulf beaches a short walk in the other direction.

LIVING & DINING AREA

Layout: A bright, open living and dining room on the ground floor, with the kitchen opening onto it across a granite breakfast peninsula. Windows on two sides and plantation shutters throughout keep the whole apartment full of soft light from morning to late afternoon.
Style: This one is not the usual beach rental. Think crown molding, warm wood-look plank flooring, solid wood doors, an antique glass-front china cabinet, an inlaid black sideboard and a floral settee. Coastal, but grown-up. No two units at the resort look alike.
Seating: A full-size sofa, a cushioned accent settee and two soft storage ottomans that double as extra seats or a footrest. Room to actually spread out.
Dining: A glass-top bistro table with four wrought-iron chairs sits in its own window nook, plus two counter stools at the kitchen peninsula. Six places to sit down and eat.
Entertainment: A wall-mounted flat-screen TV with cable, visible from both the sofa and the dining table.
Ceiling Fan: A large, quiet fan over the living area for those evenings when you would rather have the windows open.

THE BEDROOM

A Separate Room: A true bedroom behind a solid wood door, which is exactly what most Clearwater Beach rentals in this size range cannot offer.
The Bed: A King Sized vintage-style black iron bed with fresh linens, pillows and extra blankets, flanked by adjustable swing-arm reading sconces on both sides.
Your Own Exterior Door: A glass door opens from the bedroom straight out to the covered porch, so you can slip outside with your coffee before anyone else is up.

Beach Walk Promenade: The palm-lined waterfront promenade along Gulfview Boulevard, lined with restaurants and shops, is a few blocks away.
Clearwater Beach Marina: Dolphin-watching cruises, sunset sails, jet ski and boat rentals and deep-sea fishing charters launch just up the waterfront from the resort.
Clearwater Marine Aquarium: A must-do for families, just minutes away across the causeway.

EASY-ACCESS FEATURES

A-1 is one of the easier apartments at the resort to live in day to day, but please read this section carefully. It is not a step-free or certified accessible unit.

Please note, brick steps at the entrance: The apartment is on the ground floor of Building A, but the covered porch and front door are reached by a short flight of brick steps with a handrail. There is no ramp and no step-free route to the door. Guests who cannot manage a few steps should contact us before booking so we can check other suites.
Once inside: no interior stairs and no elevator. The entire apartment is on one level.
Walk-in shower with no tub wall to step over in the full bath.
A second, ground-level toilet in the powder room off the living area, so there is no long walk in the night.
Parking a few paces from your private front door, and the pool deck sits on the same level as the courtyard.

CONSIDER BEFORE BOOKING

Steps at the Front Door: A-1 is a ground-floor apartment with no interior stairs, but there are brick steps up to the covered porch and front door, with a handrail. There is no ramp or step-free entry. Please reach out before booking if that is a concern.
Courtyard Views, Not Water Views: A-1 sits back from the seawall, so the windows look onto the landscaped courtyard and the neighboring buildings rather than the bay. The dock and the water are a short walk away, and both are yours to use.
Waterfront, Not Beachfront: The resort sits on the Intracoastal Waterway. The Gulf beach is a short walk away rather than directly out the back door.
Historic Property: The Coral Resort is a lovingly maintained “Old Florida” property. The interiors are fully renovated, but the buildings themselves carry their original character. That is part of the charm, and worth knowing if you are expecting a new-build high-rise.
Entertainment: The TVs are set up with cable rather than streaming-loaded smart TVs. You are welcome to sign in to your own apps if the sets support it.
Laundry: Washer and dryer facilities are shared and on-site, not in-unit.
Dock Use: Guests are welcome to fish from the dock and enjoy it any time. Swimming and diving from the dock are not permitted, and boats and jet skis cannot be tied up at the dock. If you are bringing a vessel, there are marinas and public ramps nearby; let us know and we will point you to the closest options.

The pool closes at times posted on signs.
