«A really welcoming group of people and a quick check in. Typical character building with wonky creaky floors but loads of charm. A bit cold in the room at first but soon warmed up with the heater. Lovely amenities and a great bathroom too. Good pub food for dinner, breakfast was OK (hard boiled poached eggs will always get a point deducted I’m afraid). Will definitely stay again though.»

«Fantastic old pub with great service, pub classics and a gourmet menu/specials. Room quirky but fully equipped with tea & coffee making facilities as well as a mini fridge.
