«Black Bear Lodge is a very no-frills, rustic motel, with the room doors opening to the outside on a walkway or balconey. The bed was Very comfortable and the shower was great. That was my primary need, so i was pleased. The check in is down the road at a coffee shop and they have limited check in hours, or you have to make special arrangements. You have to take the key back to the coffee shop, which doesn't open until 8am, so there's no leaving early. There was a hair dryer in the room, and 3 ...

«So basically, my thinking is that the base rating for a hotel should be a 3/5. I liked the shower pressure so that brought it up a point, and I also thought the beds were comfortable so that also brings it up another point. However, the building is like in disrepair and falling apart to the point where I have to take a point away as funny as it was. No bugs or inconveniences or anything like that, but I don’t feel like it deserves to be on the same level as like Embassy Suites and Home2. So to ...
