«The property was beautiful. The room was comfortable and met every need. Enjoyed the pool and the quiet. The neighborhood did not seem safe, and there were no restaurants in close proximity, so a car is needed. Recommend for those not wanting to stay in Port of Spain. Host and staff were gracious and helpful. »

«The people at this hotel were generally very friendly and helpful, and that's the main positive thing about this place. Plus perhaps the location: close to downtown and with sufficient shops and eateries nearby. And the price was pretty ok for Port of Spain. Furthermore, this place really needs a proper refubishment. «Pax Guest House is in a heritage building so it is important to know that some of the facilities are older. This did not impede our stay but it is something that visitors should be aware of before arriving. Both Gerard and Oda were wonderful hosts and made our time in Trinidad that much better. Gerard gave us daily tips on where to go and what to do. Oda provided us with the best breakfasts and hospitality. They even prepared a special meal for my birthday! The guest house is up the ...

«The staff is kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. This is a small group of cabins on the side of a rainforestountain with natural pools and a 100 year old main house recently renovated. The food was delicious and healthy. But most of all, the staff was so generous when we were late for meal or needed help with the layout of the grounds. It's a place of magic and stillness. »
