«Our usual summer holiday was cancelled due to Covid, so booked this 6 weeks beforehand with no real expectations other than getting away and having a change of scenery. Turned out to be a fantastic decision. Close to lots of different beaches, kids loved jumping in the waves/body boarding, etc. some lovely villages very close by (Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac), everything you need supermarket wise in Bude, lovely walk down to the local beach a few times (could be a bit of a slog for younger ...

«We had booked double bed and got two single beds. Room and bathroom okay. Service at arrival was quite good. Dinner and breakfast okay. Service "disappeared" when we were about to pay for the dinner (at departure, as advised by the receptionist in the evening), as we couldn't find the chef who was the only person around before we were ready to leave. Just one minute before I had written a note to leave With my e-mail address, to which I asked them to send the invoice for Our dinner, the chef ...

«Check in was easy and the staff were very considerate and helpful to inform you of the hotel and where your room was. The rooms are modern and clean which is great. Some small complaints though. The rooms can be very cold and my radiator didn't seem to work. Additionally, this wasnt helped by the fact the shower only seemed to get warm not hot. During my stay there was also no mention by staff of there being a function being on the first floor (the rooms back onto the function room on this ...
