«What a lovely place in a beautiful location, west side of the Lake District. All the home comforts you could need including reclining sofa and a washing machine! «The pictures didn’t do the property any justice. The bedrooms had vaulted ceilings and looked incredible. It was very well decorated and absolutely spotless. The property had everything we could have wanted and more - the owners very kindly left us a welcome pack with home made goodies. «The property is right on a very busy main road, the main bedroom is at the front so traffic noise is an issue. The curtains aren’t blackout curtains so street lights are an issue and one being faulty and strobing intermittently didn’t help. The exterior of the front could definitely do with some tlc as well. «Lovely lodge, very clean & in a fabulous position with views of the Lake. The Lodge had everything you need, with comfortable beds & furniture, a very well stocked kitchen, a beautiful decking area with a variety of bird life visiting the feeders.
