  • Experience St. Augustine’s Crescent Beach from a bird’s-eye view. Being in the northernmost section of the complex means you get the best of both worlds: direct oceanfront access and a quiet, secluded atmosphere away from the foot traffic.

    Whether you're sipping tea on the balcony or cooling off under the ceiling fan after a day in the sand, this suite is designed for relaxation. The bathroom features recent upgrades, and the full kitchen allows you to whip up local seafood right at home.

    Queen bed in the private bedroom, Queen Sleeper Sofa in the living room. Elevator access. Must be at least 21 years old to rent. No Pets Allowed in this unit - while complex is pet friendly. This condo is rated bronze - which means some aspects of the room have not been updated - we do not recommend for a first time visit to Beacher's Lodge.

We loved the location (ocean view). A little buggy on the balcony at times but we brought citronella candle and all was good. You have all the basics you pretty much need. The front right burner did not work but that may be an easy fix. Also the sliding door was very difficult to open and close. May need some work. Other than that, very clean. Excellent hospitality.

Easy checkin. Great view of the beach. The rooms in need of remodel, painting, etc. Lots of flaking paint. Electrical outlet in kitchen looked burnt and dangerous to use. Slider door and screen in really poor shape.

The unit was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and well-equipped.The location was ideal—peaceful and right on the beach, yet just a short drive to all the great restaurants and attractions in St. Augustine. It offered the perfect balance of relaxation and convenience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was wonderful. The view was perfect. Unfortunately, we had the sunrise views instead of the sunset, but that ocean view makes up for all of it. The only minor issues that we had was the shell lamp didn't work, there isn't cable (so bring a fire stick or laptop) and the screen fell apart from the door, but it wasn't a deal breaker. Fortunately, we brought our Switch and dvds from thrift stores to watch videos and YouTube while we were resting for the day. We let the front desk know, so hopefully they will get it fixed. I'm saving this place for our future vacations to St. Augustine though. You can't be the price and location and it was peaceful and quiet.

I was able to check in about 45 min early because my room was ready. Room was exactly as pictured. Very clean and well taken care of. This was my 2nd stay at Beachers Lodge last time was as good as this time. I am already looking into booking another stay. This time I booked through Beachers Lodge website,which was simple and I think less expensive than VBRO which I used last time. I would highly recommend Beachers Lodge and unit #431

Staff is Wonderful

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, the stay was pretty good. When we arrived, we noticed there was no screen door, and only one decent chair on the patio. We spoke with maintenance and they took care of us right away with a new screen door and two new plastic chairs. Houskeeping also found a saucepan for us to use and larger coffee cups (kitchen furnishings are scant). They were all wonderful during our stay. If someone rents this unit,they should bring hangars, since the last two times we stayed there, there were no clothes hangars, and we had to buy. Other than that, all was well. The office staff was also very helpful with various requests. Thank you.

Great Winter Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Always a bit skeptical abut renting vacation property on the internet as you don't always get what is shown. Teacher,s Lodge however does not disappoint. Our condo was exactly as pictured on the website. We fond it very clean, comfortable, and located right on the beach. View out the balcony was spectacular especially at sunrise. Only one recommendation to the owner...lubricate the sliding door, it appeared to be original to the 1970's when it was built. Hard to open from years of sea air. A little graphite or WD-40 would help. Would definitely recommend staying in 431 and will likely return some day!

Only drawback was difficulty understanding and operating the TVs. Big Al had a come up twice to get the TV in the bedroom unscrambled. Big thanks to Big Al; but, with a simpler TV system, my stay would have been perfect!
