«I'm not sure where my first review went. The picture of the rental is accurate however it does not depict a mattress that pretty much is on the floor. The floor is very wavy making you feel unsteady. The couch was also low and hard as a rock. The smith river behind the house is barely visibleThe worst part is the entry. Nowhere does it mention there are 18 steep steps to entry. The apt building is surrounded by a huge green construction dumpster, a church located in a modular house and active ...

«Such a cute little place!! This was the perfect house for us to attend a wedding nearby. Everything was clean and in working order. We enjoyed watching the deer and birds every morning. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again »

«Beautiful property exactly as described. Great view of the lake, nice amenities, and use of kayaks was appreciated. Host was very responsive and friendly. Snacks and sodas provided were a nice touch, and so were the bathrobes and slippers and the hammock on the porch. Awesome property with everything you need. Will definitely recommend and stay again!!!»

«We had a fantastic family stay at Bernard’s Landing. The condo was clean, comfortable, quiet, and a great home base for exploring Smith Mountain Lake.
The location was the biggest highlight. We enjoyed the private lakeside beach, pools, walking paths, waterfront views, and beautiful sunsets without needing to drive everywhere.
