«This is not just any hotel. The moment you walk in, you fall in love at first sight. Every detail stands out — the decoration, the cleanliness, the kindness of the staff. They have truly taken care of everything.
Even the fragrance of the towels, their thickness and quality, show the level of attention they put into every detail. I’m almost at a loss for words to describe how beautiful this place is.
It’s a hidden gem that is absolutely worth visiting.»

«For the off season in NC, this was a good deal for a boutique hotel. It is small and quaint. We were in Room 7 which is TINY and has a European bathroom. We were fine but double check that if it’s an issue for you. There’s live music often in the restaurant and our room is directly above it. We liked the music but if you are looking for peace and quiet, it might not be the best place for you. Also, their Sip and Stay discount DOES NOT APPLY if you book anywhere but their website so just a heads ...

«The Herren House is historic and meets all of the charm of a house that old. The location was absolutely perfect to walk to town for shopping and meals. It was very clean but dated. The check-in was seamless, automated, but impersonal. The room was spacious but chilly. Additional blankets and a rug or drapes to close would add to the warmth. I'd stay there again but plan on the chilly room better.»
