«The home was well furnished and perfectly fit our needs. The home is a bit older, but clean and extremely comfortable. The host responded to all questions and requests very quickly. We enjoyed our stay.»

«Due to where this house sits, you have to go up a pretty good incline with loose gravel/rock. You could make it with a 2-wheel drive vehicle from one side, but 4-wheel drive is recommended. Once you get up there, you won't want to leave though...both for the view and then inconvenience of coming back down the hill...so get everything you need first so you don't have to leave again! It was a good stay even with the high winds during our visit. We would definitely go back.»

«The house decor and layout is great. Beds are very comfortable and good sheets. Coffee, tea provided and use of garage. The house is located right off the main strip so you have restaurants within half a mile and the downturn 5 minutes away. You can tell a difference from a personal host verse a management company caring for a home. Excellent host »

«Rooms were perfect and the location was convenient. We have 2 suggestions for improvement. There needs to be more plates to suite at least the 6 people the home will sleep. A new heavier weight shower curtain or a curved shower rod, this will be to keep the curtain off of you while showering. »

«Our family stayed at Timbers 2 for a week right before Christmas. It was perfect. The cabin layout was open and large. Hot tub was fabulous, and we set out on the porch and watched elk, huge elk walking in our front yard every morning. It was like something from a fairy tale book. Very relaxing. We will definitely be back.»

«This is a good value for staying in Carlsbad. House was clean with nice appliances including refrigerator and washer/dryer. Quiet, safe neighborhood away from the madness that is Canal Street these days. Justin is a super nice host that makes a great breakfast burrito delivered hot to your doorstep every AM. Would definitely stay here again.»

«Great place for our stay visiting relatives who make their home at Alto….close enough to walk over but far enough for privacy! Single level (3 stairs only at the entrance) and well planned space for up to 6 people with the master and en-suite bathroom on one side of the house and two additional bedrooms and bathrooms in the other end, plus a great deck. We visit at least twice a year and will be booking this home again, and again!»
