«This place was great for our sister weekend! Everything very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Host was receptive to questions beforehand and answered quickly. We enjoyed Mexican food at El Camino nearby. If we are in the area again we will definitely consider another stay!!»

«Basic townhouse with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Can walk to downtown Ferndale. Am very annoyed about the large damage deposit which was charged when I booked months ago and then took nearly 2 weeks to be refunded. Owner says it's up to VRBO. How about a hold at check in?»

«We traveled to Detroit to see the Black Crowes show at the Fillmore and spend a weekend together with family. Our stay at the Lumber Baron's Mansion was phenomenal. The location is excellent for any/all downtown activities and there's plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. Our host was extremely responsive and provided very clear communication. The interior was beautiful and well equipped. Highly recommended, will stay here again!»

«The space was comfortable for our family of 4 while we were in town. Walkable to downtown was nice. Hoped the breakfast would include homemade or local items but was a basic store bought selection, less than a continental hotel breakfast. Guests should be okay with street noise when staying in this unit. Nicely decorated!»

«Locating the property was pretty easy and there was ample parking. The building itself is a bit older and is showing its age on the outside and inside. You can tell the host is in the process of trying to upgrade some things, but it doesn't impair any functionality. Unless i am booking a resort, where the room is the destination and focus of the trip, I am looking for safety, quiet, and sleep. This delivered all three of those things. The condo is situated such that the bedrooms are upstairs and share no walls with any neighbors, so they were nice and quiet. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook multiple meals with ease.»

«This place was terrible. Should never have been listed. Ceilings dirty, previously wet and sagging. Carpet ripped and FILTHY. Horrible patchwork pink paint covering dirt and graffiti in the hallway. Host never responded with entry information. It was all bad. Vrbo did set me up in a hotel for 3 of my 5 nights then I had to find lodging for the rest of my stay Awaiting my refund for that.»
