«The food was wonderful and very fresh! The beds were very comfortable! Each room is thermostatically controlled and has its own charm. The floors and stairs are creaky but adds to the charm of an old home. Laurie is such a great host! We enjoyed her company very much! She made our stay so nice! We would definitely stay there again!»

«Upon entering my room, there was a mildew locker room odor and I went back to the lobby to ask for a new room and the staff was very flexible and accommodating to put me in a new room which smelled much cleaner.»

«The property was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were impressed. It is a little Out of town so you cannot walk to shops or restaurants but it is only a 5 minute drive to restaurants and shops in Nauvoo.»

«The room was great, the check in was smooth. The down sides were the check in was about 5 blocks from the hotel. Signage was difficult to see.»

«This was a very old hotel. The flooring in the room had many gaps and was peeling from the bottom. The bathroom sink was very small, and did not have a stopper. The small refrigerator was quite noisy. Otherwise, the room was clean. I would only recommend this for the budget traveler.»

«The clerk at check in was nice. They even checked our room to see if it was done to let us in a bit early. They said the room was done but we found someone ice cream cones in the fridge, the bathtub had lots of hair in it that was not ours, the shower cur6was really dirty and needed washed. We tried to turn on the TV. It didn't work, tried to call front desk to tell them, phone didn't work, toilet was broken and ran after flushing it (unless you jiggled the handle).
