«This property was clean and the host was pleasant. But you could smell the Glad plug ins from the front porch. The house is pretty small so 4-5 plug ins were WAY too many. The smell was so strong that I had to leave and rent a hotel room. My eyes and nose were burning for hours after I left. I did communicate this to the host and she said that she would think about this for future guests. I literally was on the property for 30 minutes, total. Left the house the way that I found it. «This beautifully decorated, spacious home had everything you could possibly want or need including fresh eggs from the chickens who live right next door. «House was pretty, secluded, spacious. Bathroom setup was strange, like it wasn't thought out at all. Dim lighting in kitchen, many light switches didn't seem to work. Would've been a great place to stay except for the cockroach infestation in the kitchen. At first, i thought there were only a few, but i sprayed the cabinets down with the can of roach spray i found and when i came back there were dead roaches all over the floor. «The house was very rustic, yet charming. The indoor space was adequate for two people. The beds were very comfortable, and there were a lot of extra pillows and blankets. The deck and the screen porch were an added bonus. We enjoyed sitting on the rocking chairs on the outdoor deck, watching birds. «The property was very nice. It was a little expensive for being in Statesboro, Georgia. The biggest issue was somebody staying in the garage/extra living area with a dog. We did not realize it until the morning of checkout, which is very eerie. The house had an extremely strong marijuana odor»
