«This is a fantastic pub to stay and dine at. 4 nights here with wonderfully comfortable and quiet room. Excellent staff, great evening menu and food. Lovely atmosphere. Amazing walking right from the front door, car did not move for the whole time. The breakfast is the only thing that needs attention… the full English is good quality and well cooked but took 30-40 mins to arrive and on cold plates - easily rectified I hope. «Super friendly staff who were easy to converse with, the inn was well maintained with vintage roots and a splash off modern. The food was excellent. On the listing it does say they have laundry facilities, but after asking it turns out they don’t. So be aware if that is a need. I would surely go back again if I am in the area!»

«great people who run this place with enthusiasm and commitment. It takes a little while to get served what you have ordered, but the food is good. rented three rooms and they were refurbished and in good condition, outside the hotel looks old and worn but inside everything is so much better. There was no smell of smoke in our room. The hotel is inna forest so no view. »
