This little B&B right in the middle of Split is an excellent choice for its price and location. You cannot get much more central for that price - and it IS as central as it gets when it comes to the old town. And 10-15 minutes walk will get you to the main beach area and 10-15 minutes walk the other direction up the Marjan hill with views over Split.
We had a room on the 3. floor facing the harbour and a splendid view over the harbour and pedestrian area in front (The Riva). We were immediately a little skeptical about possible noise, but the soundproofing of the shutters and windows was excellent.
The reception staff was helpful and the housekeepers efficient. We took the breakfast option which gave us a simple but standard breakfast each day (ham, cheese, marmelades, coffee, orange juice and bread. No warm items though, like eggs and sausages)
The only 2 drawbacks for us was that the room didn't seem to get a proper airconditioning (had fans working though) and the internet connection on the guests computers in the reception area didnt work when we needed them. Plenty of internet cafes around though and for our part we also had tablets with us so it wasn't a crisis.
All in all, full recommendation for the price and location!
