«The property was beautiful. Stream runs through the property, and we did a bit of fishing but no luck! All staff was friendly and accommodating. Amenities were so NICE! We used two of the hot tubs, one by the creek and one on the deck, very nice! Sauna was in use so unable to use. So many lakes close by! Lots of hiking areas. We did picnic on the grounds. The only negative was breakfast was the same for 3 days straight and the egg casserole was rubbery, bacon and hash browns way overcooked ...

«Frequently stay in the Fairplay area for work and the Hand hotel has been by far the most enjoyable place to stay. The other option (Riverside Inn) has always been extremely noisy and the staff don't seem to care much about customer concerns. The Hand hotel staff were excellent and it was convenient having the cafe down-stairs... just be aware it isn't open every morning, but there are other options close by. It is a historic building so keep that in mind when booking.»

«Mountain Goat Lodge is an absolute GEM of a bed and breakfast! Located at the base of the Sawatch Mountain Range, this charming inn is home to a small herd of friendly goats, a seriously fantastic breakfast spread and the absolutely most comfortable beds. We feel lucky to have found this incredible place and made sure to purchase their delectable homemade goats milk yogurt (10/10 recommend.) My husband and I cannot wait to stay again!! »
