«Our group loved our stay at the Farmhouse! The property and scenery are so picturesque, and we loved spending time together around the large table in the kitchen. Brian (host) had great recommendations for the area, especially a bus to take us around to the local wineries for an afternoon. We had a blast utilizing all the paddle boards and kayaks provided at the pond, and after fun-filled days the beds were comfortable and clean! We would definitely stay again.»

«Our host Tina and her husband Gary sacrificed quite a lot to make this trip happen for me and my family. Long story short, it was perfect. The weather was perfect and we witnessed the most perfect total eclipse IN THE LINE OF TOTALITY!! We sat in Tina and Gary’s back pasture near a pond. It’s crazy, the day before it rained, then eclipse day woke up sunny and stayed that way till later that night. Since after the eclipse it’s been April showers bring May flowers since!! «It was an absolute honor to stay in a family farmhouse with a long history and rich tradition. It was a blast from the past. It has a beautiful view across the valley in the back yard and pet a cow while you’re back there. If you’re in town for a a week or weekend on Lake Shelbyville this is a great place to stay. Less than 15 minutes to the lake and even less to town. Plenty of room to park 5 boats. Don’t forget to bring your work clothes because there’s always work to be done on the farm!! Oh, ...

My wife has a skin sensitivity and we have come accustom to using only soaps that have no smell. The bed linens and bath towels were washed with a scented detergent and for us was a bit too much.
