Central reasonably priced accommodation
Good service and comfort during the stay. Reasonable parking costs. Fairly short walking distance to pubs, bars and shops - whether up in London road or down in Ocean Village. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Greit hotell til billig penge
Lite rom.. ryddig og rent... trekker ned på komfort og tilstand pga aircondition virket ikke som det skulle.. ikke mulig å få temperaturen på rommet under 26 grader, som som er for varmt for meg når jeg skal sove. Hotellet har en grei beliggenhet.. kort vei til jernbanestasjonen (3 min gange ) og shopping muligheter ( 5 til 10 min gange)

Rooms are tiny. No safe in room. No refrigerator in room. No telephone in room. I would not stay there again

The room is very small and warm. A fan was in the room and the window opens ,but it was hard to sleep. We could walk from the cruise ship and the next morning to the bus station and we could drop off luggage and explore. It was clean and quiet.

Great property to stay before or after a cruise. Lots of shops and places to eat within walking distance. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They store your luggage if off ship too early for checkin. Southampton Airport nearby. Will stay again after a cruise.

The lobby and first floor dining was a very nice area and the staff was excellent. If you are from the US it would be comparable to a cheap Holiday Inn. There are no safes or mini fridges. It is about a 15 minute walk to get into the City Center shopping area. It is next door to an Ikea which has a restaurant on the 4th floor with cheap coffee and decent cheap food. Otherwise the food and drink in the area is on the high side

8 years,ago, this property was top notch. Fast forward the 2024, its,amazing how bad it turned. There's was a very bad odor coming from the carpet inside the room. There were no aircondition. A portable fan was provided in the room. 1st night, i thought there were some bedbugs in the room as my body wss iching the entire night. It turns out that it wasn't bedbugs,but because they are usi g a cheap detergent, my skin was not able to cope with it...this never happened at any hotel i've ever stsyed,at. Breakfast was a joke...silverwears, eggs, bread were running out. Not a huge selection. It used to be a good breakfast in ghe past. But for sure not worthed for its current cost. Taxi arrangement was a joke. Made it clear to the front desk that i need a 0500 taxi pick up. She still manage to screw it up and arrange it for 1715 🙈🙈🙈. Yeah, i will not be staying here next year unless they rectify all of these.

Good Morning,thank you for your review, we really appreciate your feedback. we can assure you we have very strict regulations where this kind of situation is checked regularly by an expert- which would be appropriate protocol for all hotels. on our website it does state we do not have an air conditioning but we are sorry to hear you didn't see this and it wasn't to your liking. our detergent is standard and again protocol used cleaning supplies which are applicable for most hospitality establishments. but we are sorry to hear that your skin was sensitive to this and if there would be any thing we could do at the time to aid you specifically with this of course we would. we are sorry to hear you didn't enjoy breakfast- sometimes in a busy morning replenishment is needed but we are sorry to hear this wasn't as smoothly as we strive to be at ibis. we are so sorry to hear that this happened unfortunately human error occurred but we are so sorry that this happened to your self and we hope to see you again soon to be able to rectify these issues on the duration of your stay. kind regards

I arrived a few minutes earlier. They told me they’re gonna charge me 10 pound for early checking so I waited 10 minutes. There was no Internet for the duration of my visit. Wi-Fi was off to go to the hotel nearby to get Wi-Fi. Bathrooms are moldy toilet seats, touch from the wall other than that it was only one night experience so much to complain about.

We enjoyed the proximity of this hotel to the shopping mall and the old town. When we arrived another couple had asked the front desk to arrange a taxi to the port terminal. The clerk directed them to a terminal on the desk which wouldn't accept their phone number. Fortunately another operative (Madie) took over and arranged a taxi for them. Which is the customer service I would expect. Maybe the first clerk was training. Our stay was very enjoyable and we would recommend this hotel.
