«The Villa Marina is run by two of the most wonderful people you could ever meet. Vince and Erwan were amazing hosts who would do anything to ensure you had a wonderful stay. The hotel is super clean, the breakfasts ensured lunch may not be required! A location not far from the sea or town centre and an overall lovely atmosphere. Their knowledge of the local area was well received by everyone which helped guests make the most of their time in Torquay. I can’t thank them enough for making my stay ...

«Er supert opphold. Meget hyggelig vertskap. Fineste bad jeg har opplevd i UK. »

«Great stay, room was large and clean, bed and pillows extremely comfortable, breakfast was excellent, so much choice and very tasty. Also got a car parking space on site. Hosts were lovely. Nothing to complain about at all🤗»

«Had a lovely stay at Kethla house, location was good. Bed was very comfortable owners were very welcoming and friendly. Really enjoyed the breakfast as well. Would definitely recommend.»

«I had such a lovely stay here. It may be a modest B&B, but it was absolutely excellent, and as a solo female traveller I felt completely safe, comfortable and genuinely looked after. My single room was spotless and had everything I needed, including a lovely en-suite and a big window. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, and even the little details were thought of — when I arrived, the owner brought me a bottle of cold water, which was such a lovely welcome. Breakfast was fresh and ...

«Wonderful place, very close to the town with its restaurants etc. in walking distance. Nice parking. A Nice walk about close with a wonderful view of the riviera. Close to Kent’s caverns which the whole family found interesting. Loved John and the rest of the staff. Really want to get back to Haytor. »

«Veldig bra renhold, hyggelig personale, meget bra frokost, rikelig utvalg, aircondition på rommet som fungerte utmerket og var lite støyende.»

«Excellent Guest House! Good location, very friendly hosts, nice rooms, and lovely breakfast. Highly recommendable.»

«There was a wedding party which I was advised before I arrived. The hotel called me to confirm this which I was happy with. They brought the evening meals to the room which was very enjoyable. I have no issues with this whatsoever. They kept me informed. »

«Clean, cosy, well equipped, well situated, friendly welcome. Only stayed one night, but a comfortable evening and woke well rested for work. Definitely coming back.»

«Supert hotell dersom du kommer med bil, for de har en stor parkeringsplass med gratis parkering. Hyggelige og hjelpsomme ansatte! Rommet var stort og fint. Et fint hotell i en ellers sliten by som bærer preg av å ha hatt sin storhetstid for en god stund siden.»

«As a tourist with visionchallages its not a hotel I will reccomend»

«Great location, but some room for improvement Great location, just a stone’s throw from the main beach in Torquay. The flat had all the amenities we needed for cooking, which was a plus. Unfortunately, there were a few things that let the stay down. The dining table only seats two people, despite the flat accommodating four. This meant our children had to sit at the table while we ate standing at the kitchen counter. Although the toilet looked clean, there was a noticeable smell of urine. The ...

«Julie and Gary were absolutely lovely and super helpful. They helped heat up milk for our little one and were friendly the hole time. I would say I think personally found the mattresses slightly uncomfortable, may be a preference. The only true negative, so the reason it was not 5 stars for us was the shower was weak, so couldn't just stand underneath it, had to hold it over the body part to clean. Aside that, amazing place, lovely people! Thank you both.»

«We had a pleasant stay overall. The location is excellent, with beautiful views and easy access to Torquay. The hotel’s public areas are lovely and full of character, and the breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The staff were also friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Our ground floor room was spacious and comfortable, but it would really benefit from a deep clean. It felt a little tired and musty. One disappointment was that the outdoor swimming pool was out of service. This was ...

«Room was spacious with large tv. T8ssue and part of hairbrush behind large table. Missing fixings in shower and shower bowl filled up with water. Curtain rail was missing fixing. Bed was comfortable and nice view of sea. Be prepared for a 20mins walk down a steep hill to town centre. Hydro baths were nice»
