    Whitley Farm in Molland (Devon) is a period farmhouse dating back to the 17th century, now available for holiday bookings. Guests are sure to fall for the charm and character of this property, set in a stunning secluded rural location with outstanding moorland views; with three double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, and a single bedroom with a cot, the property is well suited to a large family group.

    LOW OCCUPANCY DISCOUNT: A reduced rate is available for smaller groups. Please note that guests booking at the lower occupancy rate are expected to use fewer bedrooms and less linen. If your group wishes to use all 5 bedrooms and all beds, the full occupancy rate will apply.

    Dogs are welcome (maximum of 3) for a supplementary fee of £20 per dog per booking. Please do not allow your dogs on the furniture or upstairs and do not leave them alone in the property at any time.

    The property will be ready from 4 pm on the day of your arrival. Please depart by 10 am on the last day of your stay. Please leave the property clean and tidy so that we can guarantee it will be ready on time for our next guests.


    Indoor Description
    The ground floor comprises the utility/boot room with plenty of space for coats and outside footwear, the lounge, with wood burning stove set in a large fireplace; the country style kitchen, fitted with the essential appliances for a week away (American style fridge-freezer, oven, hop, washing machine, etc); the dining room, complimented by another wood burning stove; and the conservatory which leads into the garden. There is one ground-floor bedroom which has two single beds. Plus a ground floor shower room (shower, toilet and hand basin).

    Upstairs are the other four bedrooms, the master which has a super-king bed, two with king size beds and a single room with a bed and cot. The family bathroom comprises bath, separate shower, toilet and hand basin.

    Electricity and heating is included in the price of your accommodation. The property has oil-fired central heating which can be adjusted to suit your preferences and the seasons.
    A basket of logs and kindling will be provided for each wood-burner in the cooler months.

    Bed linen, duvets, blankets and towels are provided for your convenience, but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips.

    Outdoor Description
    Whitley Farm is set within beautiful private gardens of just under 1 acre, complete with pond, in a secluded position near the southern boundary of Exmoor National Park.

    The property enjoys moorland views and the opportunity for walks from the doorstep are many.

    The nearby pub, The London Inn, is in the village of Molland which is just over a mile away.

    The market town of South Molton is a short drive and explore a range of independent shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes, along with twice weekly market selling local goods and fresh produce.

    The region

    Molland is a tiny, remote hamlet on the southern edge of Exmoor National Park, set deep in the rolling hills between South Molton and Dulverton in North Devon.



    This is one of the most peaceful and unspoilt corners of Exmoor, where narrow lanes wind between high hedgerows, red deer roam the open moorland above, and the pace of life has changed very little over the centuries. Molland is renowned for its exceptional medieval church -- St Mary's -- which preserves a remarkable set of 18th-century box pews, a three-decker pulpit, and a Georgian interior virtually untouched since the 1700s. It is considered one of the finest unspoilt church interiors in Devon.



    The village has a traditional pub, the London Inn, and is surrounded by open Exmoor moorland offering superb walking and wildlife watching from the doorstep.

    South Molton -- Approximately 6 miles north. A handsome North Devon market town with a good range of independent shops, cafes, a Tesco supermarket, chemist, post office, and a weekly pannier market.



    Dulverton -- Approximately 10 miles east. A small market town on the southern edge of Exmoor National Park with independent shops, a butcher, a chemist, and the Exmoor National Park Visitor Centre.



    For larger supermarkets and high street shops, Barnstaple is approximately 18 miles to the north-west and Tiverton approximately 18 miles to the south.
