2. Brewery District Gem - 2BR with Historic Charm

Brewery District

«Nice location for enjoying the Brewery and German districts. Easy walking distance to restaurants. Charming house with a historic feel. Enjoyed having daily morning coffee on front porch. Lots of stairs inside to walk off all that German beer! The master bed was terribly lumpy. Both bedrooms felt warm at night in august. 1 upstairs bathroom, which was small. The shower was a bit challenging as it felt very narrow due to the surrounding shower curtains. The host made everything very easy which ...

«Property was not clean upon arrival. We got there later in the evening after a busy day. A management company tried to get a cleaning crew in there, but because of the hour were unable to and attempted to relocate us for the one night and then put us back in that location for the next night. That was not possible as we were exhausted and already settled in. Took it upon myself to wash the sheets and towels that were soiled from previous guest. Luckily, there is a washer and dryer in the ...

«This property has good features and the kitchen is well-equipped for a family to prepare food. The location is nice as there are several grocery outlets nearby, and a nice park in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, we had planned to spend our family time in the backyard and the host did not communicate about the unsafe conditions. She did let us know a tree had fallen on the fence and it would be repaired before we arrived; however, she was completely dishonest in not informing us that the deck ...

«Our family was in town for a celebration of life of a deceased family member. We were hoping to have a comfortable place to gather and spend time together. Instead we found the following problems. Visible mold in the dishwasher and under and around the sink. The dishware and cookware were not clean, plates and glasses were smeared. There was visible food reside on most of the pans or else they were non-stick and very visibly worn, and not safe to cook with.In the second-floor bedroom with ...
