«Overall I would stay again, but I think it would be better in the summer. Positives: Great location for exploring south Bruny Island, and handy to the local hotel for meals (we didn't use the cooking facilities). The washing machine was handy, and the shower and hot water was good. Not so positive: The property was a bit cold, even though we used the air conditioner before lighting the wood fire. Once the fire got going the heating was better, however the firebox was full of ashes from ...

«This little gem was just amazing! Just down the road from family so VERY convenient! Home had absolutley everything we needed. Wonderful sun soaked back deck with garden setting and lounge. Beautiful veiws out front, great kitchen and loungeroom! Cant wait to get back again this year!»

«Loved the stay at the Pier House. What a fabulous view from the living room and balcony. Surrounded by sea and moutnains and amongst the local wildlife. Amenities in the kitchen and laundry were certainly above average and the rooms and bathroom were simple but all you needed. Would love to come back and explore the shore and rocks again.»

«Dog friendly, and great location. However you may need to be aware that the access to main living space is up 14 wooden stairs. We had to teach our to go up and down, slowly. I would imagine some older people having difficulty with this too.»

«We booked this accommodation as a 4-day fieldwork base. The mill house has its idiosyncrasies. As long as you set your expectations for camping conditions in a remote part of the world, you will find the structure to be sufficient. The location is spectacular and the jetty is very impressive. All team members expressed their satisfaction with their stay and would book it again for similar work.»

«A charming property sitting by waterfronts with magical views from dawn to dusk. Facing the beach and rowing on the machine felt like rowing to the sea. Lots of widlife to watch.
