«A positive surprise,
My first thought was "how did this place make it on to hotels.com?". The first impression were not good, but from there the hotel and area around gradually grew on us. Especially the manager were very helpful whenever we needed anything.
I brought my wife and two kids over from Norway to watch the world cup. We are not used to seeing junkies all over the street, so that was a new experience as well.

«It's a nice looking property from the outside but not in the best of neighbourhoods.
The smoke detector on the 2nd floor didn't have a cover on it so not sure if it worked.
I had to ring the owner up at 23.00 as I couldn't get the front door opened. You had to pull the handle as you entered the door code.»

«This propery says entire apartment. It is a room with a toilet (at best). Others are shared. I text the owner that there was no heat when I checked in, he text me 30 minutes before check out. I went to The Marriott and had a comfortable stay. The room is in need of repair. Blinds are see through, etc. Forget about this.»

«Absolutely horrible, They lied about how we would be accomodated, the information they provide is completely confising, what they ask of the guests in terms of how to enter and what codes and rules, is just as confusing, they made us wait an hour after our arranged arrival, completely disgusting, they should not be allowed to provide any type of service

«Room was small as expected for a hotel room in manhattan, but clean. bed springs were loud and you can hear honking from the street. The area is relatively quiet though. You can hear everything from neighbors including door slamming, footsteps, and conversations. Staff were very nice overall. Location was convenient, by the 1 and not far from A/C.»
