«Title: Appalling Experience – Unsafe, Unhygienic & Completely Misleading My stay at Kaktus Somabay was a disaster from the moment I checked in on November 27, 2025. The first room was covered in thick dust, to the extent that my new iPad cover became damaged within minutes. When I reported it, management responded with denial and disrespect, insisting it “did not happen here.” Their attitude alone was unacceptable. «Very remote place, very many excellent coral reefs just outside the beach. Plenty of coulorful coral reefs and colourful fish. Good beach, excellent snorkeling and diving facilities. Good food (not gourmet food). Nothing to offer except from the sea activities, but that was fine with me. No night life. OK rooms, clean and with hot and cold water. No luxury. Very calm place, with nice and helpful staff.»
