Wonderful place to stay

Wonderful place to stay. The only problem was the shower in the master bathroom. It was a little challenging to use because of a part broke.

A month of Solana Beach Solstice

We just loved this condo and location ! Friendly neighborhood , Dog Beach near by and walk both Solana Beach and Del Mar !! It was nicely appointed and would love to come stay next year as well !! Highly Recomend Del Mar beach club !!

Gorgeous view

When you walk into the place your first reaction is “Wow”. That view was incredible. We loved the location looking right out to the ocean. Being able to walk right down to the beach for sunset. We loved having the tennis/PB courts and the work out room. We were also able to walk to many restaurants and Delmar. We’ll definitely be back!!!

Very disappointing

This unit does not have air conditioning and this fact was not disclosed, which we felt was deceptive. Additionally, there were several maintenance issues that were never addressed during our 4 day stay, even though we were promised that they would be fixed. Overall, we felt deceived by the property management company.

Would stay again!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again if back in the area. Pros: * The location and view were amazing. * The beach was perfect for taking walks, sunbathing, exploring the coast and walking to the nearby dog park. * We were within 20-30 minutes of all the sights we wanted to see. * There were plenty of restaurants and stores close by, so getting food and things was super easy. * The kitchen was equipped with more than enough dishes, utensils, dishwashing soap, etc. * There were plenty of towels, pillows, toilet paper and laundry soap for the week. * The master bed was comfortable and the bedroom had tons of store space for suitcases and clothes. Cons: * The property is gated, and getting through the gate is a little confusing because it acts like it’s calling somebody, but then turns to busy signal. Thankfully, the gate opened eventually. * Upon entering the condo there is a bowl of keys, but no explanation regarding the different keys. There are keys for opening gates on the grounds, into the pools, etc. But we had to ask around to figure out what was what. Within a day, we had it figured out, but an explanation would have been helpful. * The living room furniture doesn’t offer much seating, and it’s quite uncomfortable. There were only two of us, so it wasn’t a big deal. But a larger group would be tough. Would recommend getting more comfortable seating. Overall, I would highly recommend this condo for a couple, or family with one or two kids.

Had trouble getting correct lock combination to gain entry to condo - suggest you creat & post YouTube video that demonstrates how to gain access to unit. After we got in using correct combo provided over phone there were no issues

Enjoyed stay at Del Mar Beach Club condo

The condo is very nice, beautiful view. The area is also nice, close to stores & restaurants and good areas to walk. The only issue we had was problems with obtaining gate code and correct entry door code. Vacasa did correct the problem and made it right with us. I suggest making sure the gate code is sent to you prior to arriving at the condo complex.

Del Mar Beach Club

VERY rough start. No code given for the gate into property and wrong code for unit door. Able to reach property manager for help on door but no help on gate. Fortunately some nice other people let us in the gate. Work hard to get a gate code if you are going. "Generated by PM" is not enough. After that, things were smooth. Location is outstanding for quiet area of the coast. Very walkable for shops, restaurants, and beaches. Lots of dogs. Awesome view of the ocean with dolphins, birds, and rays. Unit is in good shape and has a "sturdy" feel. Appliances were new - especially microwave. Still the sign about not running the garbage disposal or we would flood units below which is weird. Rope/wicker chair is unique but not really functional. Would be nice to have more usable seating. Overall definitely would go back - especially with a gate code.

Great Views

Killer views of the ocean and sunsets. Otherwise the unit was good. Not one floor or table lamp in the living room so you couldn't read there without overhead lights on. Dealing with the management company (Vacasa) was like dealing with a cable company. Good luck getting help on the phone. We asked for an early check in as the unit hadn't been rented the week before. Despite repeated emails and calls we finally got an answer 30 minutes before our scheduled time. Really impressive customer service Vacasa.

All about the view!

Spectacular view, clean condo & comfortable beds were the most important pros for us to share. We also really enjoyed the hot tub on the property. Great location with excellent variety of restaurants within walking distance. Cons: Needs some maintenance & updating. Nothing major... just inconveniences. Ice maker & garbage disposal didn't work. With the cool temps we were glad to find small portable heaters to use since the ONE wall heater wasn't working. Recommend using caution with egg chair due to some fraying of rope hanging it from ceiling. Check-in process was NOT fun. I had to make multiple phone calls to Vacasa to get a code to work for entry to unit. The number in our instructions for the on-site office never answered our calls to give us a code for the property gate. Overall, we enjoyed are stay, but would have preferred more updated & well maintained unit. We have stayed in several different condos here in Solana, so we have reference to compare. Wouldn't consider this top notch for someone more picky than us.

Great family Vacation

We had a great time at this property! Being able to walk down to the beach and then warm off in the heated pool made for a great day. The location was also fantastic, not having to be stuck in the California traffic was a huge bonus. (Oceanside Street Fair, Torrey Pines and San Diego Zoo) were all within 30 mins of this local.

5 star location … 3 star property

Location of unit is terrific- for both both beach access, and for major roadways connecting you to many attractions and coastal towns. The condo itself, however, is dated and needs to be refreshed. Plumbing overall is an issue, some kitchen cabinets don’t close properly, and garbage disposal, range vent, built-in microwave, ice maker … all inoperable.

Wish it was longer

Had a rocky start (checking in). Because it is a gated community and is not self check-in, we had to meet with a rep at the property. He assumed we had been given the gate code. We had not. Could been handled differently. Also, the tv’s in both bedrooms had no batteries in their remotes. The rest of our stay went smoothly and had a great time.

Fabulous!!!!

One of the best vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed at! The view is spectacular!! Very spacious condo. Kitchen was very well appointed. Everything we needed to cook including Tupperware for leftovers! Only a small glitch with check-in which was fixed quickly. I would highly recommend this condo for anyone!!!!!

Nice beach house. Lovely area!

The beach house is a great place to stay!!! Lovely area!! Nice unit!!! Been here multiple times. The check-in was easy. Agent was very nice. I would recommend this unit. Unfortunately the unit was still being cleaned when we arrived at 4:10. Not a big deal, but the unit should be ready when it’s supposed to be. Also there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Cups with lipstick on them. The pots and pans in the cupboards were a mess. It’s just like someone just stuffed everything into the cabinet. And the coating was wearing off most of the pots. Considering how much is being charged for the unit, I think it would be nice to have it cleaned better and things organized.

Ocean views

The condo unit was wonderful. The views were amazing. It was nice to be able to access the beach. We would definitely stay again. My only observation, which is the same as others. This could be a self check in unit. Our check in person was great, but we could have easily checked in with a gate code. The app they have for this unit would accomplish self check in. The app is great by the way, answered many questions.

Nice place but expect hiccups...

We’ve stayed in numerous VRBO rentals and this was the 1st time I felt I was over promised something and the condo/property manager under delivered. We too experienced issues with arrival, their rep was not overly informed and gave a lot of “I don’t know” answers. The details about the trash cans were entirely incorrect, there were ants on the kitchen counters, bathrooms and floors. We had a broken window that could not be secured ava was held up by a broom. A few reps texted & called to set up times for repair men to show up and they had their times all wrong. Total inconvenience and no apologies... Definitely not the experience we were hoping for... Solana Beach was perfect as well as neighboring Del Mar & Encintas!

Amazing Beachfront Property

This property is absolutely amazing. We stayed 11 days in July 2020. It is located right on the beach and there are stairs leading down to the beach. You hear the sound of the waves all day. Very nicely decorated and kitchen is well equipped. There are 3 pools, only 1 was open due to Covid but was never crowded. Beach in front of property was never crowded, usually more people at the weekend. Also great communication with property manager before checkin. There are two reasons I gave 4 stars instead of 5: 1. I dont think the property was cleaned properly. I found a sock which did not belong to our party in the living room 2. The agent that met me for the checkin process arrived late then could not find the property keys after opening the door with the code. Eventually I found the keys by the door and she said they were not in the usual place. Also she could not answer any questions about the Condo. Having someone meet us was completely unnecessary, we could have been given the code and let ourselves in.

Ocean Front Property

Newly decorated condo with a fantastic view....right on the ocean. The apartment was very clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen had everything needed to cook simple meals...good spice selection. Only complaint would be with property management. We had confirmed a check in time that they didn’t honor & the girl who did check us in didn’t seem to know much about the apartment, parking or the area. Maybe the owner could leave printed information for future guest ( the app was not very helpful)

Great View

The property was great! Great beach access and view. We even cooked our thanksgiving dinner there. The only downfall, which was a huge bummer traveling with 3 kids was the pools. We partially chose this place because it said there was 2 heated pools, but there was none. Also we were told 2 hot tubs, and there was only one. Still a great place though.

Awesome Location

Solana Beach is a fantastic location. It is close to I-5, so very easy to get to and from all of SanDiego. This condo overlooks the ocean, we sat on the balcony and watched the surfers every morning. We walked straight down the stairs to a really nice beach. A screen blew out and broke. A bathroom tub was draining slowly. In both cased I called and a maintenance person showed up and fixed the problem the same day. The property is very well managed. Check in and check out were easy. I don't know how you beat this location.

Solana Beach Del Mar Beach Club Fri, Nov 8 - Fri, Nov 15

This beach front home is superb. Super clean, modern with a spectacular view. Everything is as advertised. We definetely will return to this place. This is a five star home! In clear contrast to the super property the handling of our check-in process by SeaBreeze Vaccation Rentals was more than terrible! I send 5 emails and call them at least 3 times. In addition my wife spend more than an hour on the phone to get access information. We communicated with several SeaBreeze reps. and each time got different (wrong) infos on how to access the property. This is so unprofessional!!
