«The Carlsbad resort is perfect for holiday with family. For us who were tourists travelling through and staying only two days, it was a bit of a surprise to get a fully equipped timeshare apartment. There are no nearby restaurants, and no meals are served. So you need to set up the fridge with basic content, and you need to take the car to restaurants in Carlsbad some 3-4 miles away. The village is really nice though, with good places to eat, art galleries etc.»

«Just to note the concierge was a bit of a dud. I had no idea where our room was, how to get to it or where to park. Usually you're given a map of the property or a least directions. Also we had many stairs and had an injured guest I should have asked about stairs before. The room was great although noisy with the train very early in the am. The rest was great and we had a nice stay.»

«Well-appointed condo in a laid-back, quiet complex. Parking was super convenient to unit. Oceanfront Pool and Spa. Stairs to beach was right next to property, which is not so common in this area. We've stayed at many VRBO ocean-front rentals from Leucadia to Del Mar and this was one of our favorites. Scott, the host, was also top-notch with his communication and efforts to make our stay the best possible. «I stayed here with my husband, 74 year old father and 4 year old daughter and it was lovely. Having the grill and full kitchen was so helpful, plus 3 bathrooms and laundry were so convenient. Pretty quiet, and the pool closest to us was perfect. Not a pain at all to walk to the beach, and the backpack beach chairs provided were great.»

«This unit was the perfect 3bdrm, 3 bath ocean view for three adults. It was well decorated, comfortable, clean and had all the amenities - well stocked kitchen, beach chairs, towels, fans - beautiful, large master bedroom. The managers were immediately responsive if we had minor issues. Complex smaller so quieter and feels newer. Post office begins early so that was noisy for bedrooms facing, but my only complaint. would highly recommend.»

«This property is as shown. The condo unit is bright, clean and 2 minutes to the beach! The view in the morning upon awakening and at night at sunset is beautiful. The sound of the waves make a wonderful sleeping sound. The condo is located near stores and restaurants and is in a nice, safe neighborhood. Nick and Amy were very responsive to all queries. «We had a wonderful stay! Great communication, easy access. The unit has great views (even nicer in our opinion than pictures.) Very clean, comfortable (great beds), and well cared for. Close to pretty much everything (quick drive to grocery.) Lots of nice little restaurants and shops walking distance or short drive. Del Mar beach is just a few blocks walk south and Solana Beach a few blocks north. Can't say enough good things. Will definitely come back.»
