«If you want solitude this is your place to escape all the machinations of our world. Property owner provides a plethora of things for you to do. You can grill outside on the deck, watch the stars or aurora, read a book inside the cozy cabin, play a deck of cards, cook almost anything in the fully stocked kitchen or just cozy up on the sofa or loft. Our only concern is the long 7km drive on the gravel road to reach the property. Can be a bit bumpy if you’re only used to smooth tarmacs.  ...

«It was rainy and overcast while we were there and the northern lights were not to be. But, my husband and I did enjoy the relaxing on the couch and curling up and watching a movie after spending the days driving around sight seeing. Everything we needed was there except paper towels. «We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here»

«Perfectly based location for a few days at snaefellsnes. We really love the accommodation, it has a nice interieur and the contact to Jacob was also fine. He is intested that everything works fine for your stay at his house. Good place to see the northern lights, because its quite remote. Highly recommendation but you have to know that you have to clean at the end of your stay»

«We went to Iceland to try to catch the Northern Lights and were blessed to have been able to see them from this beautiful home! We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen, spacious design, and comfortable furniture! We didn't use the hot tub as we expected to but hit up the (sort of) nearby Krauma hot springs. They were very accommodating of any needs we had and even provided a convenient packet of information about the local area. The home is beautiful, clean, and private. The hot tub was also very clean always hot. The bed gave possibly the most comfortable night's sleep I've had since I was a baby. «Perfectly remote and cozy! I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy sleeping in but the land was calling to us. Terrific house manual sent ahead of booked stay takes all the guess work out of using the property. There are adjacent properties but separated by heavy vegetation. We slept very comfortably. I could see a small family enjoying this space too. The views of the mountains are super from the big windows and on the deck.»
