"Excellent, gorgeous hotel and passable breakfast (could have been less cakes and grilled vegetables and more fresh fruits and more yoghurt; also, the coffee machine doesn't scream premium). The staff and the stay, all in all, was great. The room was good as well.
Though I have some specific complaints: the bathrooms are continually fogged, wet and cold. The shower battery shifted between scalding hot and ice cold and the head had tiny, brown bumps and leaked. It also leaked from the bathtub and out onto the cold floor. Every towel was continually cold and wet too. The drying rack didn't work either? Maybe it wasn't supposed to work? I don't know. It just felt like a few things needed a little more love to get a full, premium score. I would also expect there to be some possibility to switch bathing towels for the beach. But the lack of a dedicated service might have to do with us, staying so late in the season.
The spa was all right. I was very sad to find the saunas closed though.
All in all: Good – I just expected a littleeee better from a five star hotel in terms of infrastructure. Also: it smelled fantastic in the corridors and in the room. It was the best first impression that way. And the self checkout online worked perfectly. Saved us a lot of time.
Bear in mind: the summer season and the sunbeds (that is to say: the shading get's taken away but the sunbeds remain a little longer) close at the end of the third week of September."
