«Unfortunately, our stay did not meet our expectations at all. We had booked and expected a 4-star hotel, but instead we were accommodated in a 3-star property that appeared quite run-down overall. We were particularly disappointed by the additional charges. Although use of the pool had been advertised, we were charged €2.50 for each towel. On top of that, there was an additional reception fee, while the tourist tax was charged separately as well. In our opinion, such extra costs should be ...

«Excellent, gorgeous hotel and passable breakfast (could have been less cakes and grilled vegetables and more fresh fruits and more yoghurt; also, the coffee machine doesn't scream premium). The staff and the stay, all in all, was great. The room was good as well. Though I have some specific complaints: the bathrooms are continually fogged, wet and cold. The shower battery shifted between scalding hot and ice cold and the head had tiny, brown bumps and leaked. It also leaked from the bathtub ...

20. Hotel Lavender - Oleander Resort

Piran

«The property was listed as being in Piran. It was far from there in an area without retail or dining. It was listed as having a pool. There was no pool. There are 2 buildings. We were placed at one without a reception area and we had to walk to the other building for breakfast and to check in and out. Our room was very bleak - without decor. It resembled a college dorm room. I would not recommend this place to anyone.»

Anmeldelser av populære hoteller i Slovensk Istria

Hotel Slovenija – Lifeclass Hotels & Spa, Portorož

8/10 Bra

"Excellent, gorgeous hotel and passable breakfast (could have been less cakes and grilled vegetables and more fresh fruits and more yoghurt; also, the coffee machine doesn't scream premium). The staff and the stay, all in all, was great. The room was good as well. Though I have some specific complaints: the bathrooms are continually fogged, wet and cold. The shower battery shifted between scalding hot and ice cold and the head had tiny, brown bumps and leaked. It also leaked from the bathtub and out onto the cold floor. Every towel was continually cold and wet too. The drying rack didn't work either? Maybe it wasn't supposed to work? I don't know. It just felt like a few things needed a little more love to get a full, premium score. I would also expect there to be some possibility to switch bathing towels for the beach. But the lack of a dedicated service might have to do with us, staying so late in the season. The spa was all right. I was very sad to find the saunas closed though. All in all: Good – I just expected a littleeee better from a five star hotel in terms of infrastructure. Also: it smelled fantastic in the corridors and in the room. It was the best first impression that way. And the self checkout online worked perfectly. Saved us a lot of time. Bear in mind: the summer season and the sunbeds (that is to say: the shading get's taken away but the sunbeds remain a little longer) close at the end of the third week of September."

Hotel Piran

8/10 Bra

"Personalet i resepsjonen var meget hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Hotellrommet kan gjerne oppdateres/ renoveres. Lufteluken på badet var tett av støv og fungerte ikke. Dusjkabinettet lakk og vann fløt utover badegulvet. Leselampenes plassering i forholdtil sengegavelen gjorde at lyset ikke var til hjelp ved lesing."

Hotel Ville Park Premium - Sava Hotels & Resorts

10/10 Utmerket

"Slovenia var en positiv overraskelse. Trivelig land, rett og slett. Hotellet var veldig bra. Above expectations, som de sier på andre siden av Nordsjøen. Fantastisk kommunistbrutalisme fra 70-tallet (Hotel Bernadin), men godt vedlikeholdt og oppgradert til moderne standard. Kanskje vi ses igjen, Slovenia."

Hotel Mirta – San Simon Resort

8/10 Bra

"Greit hotell, kanskje litt voldsomt å kalle det en resort, men ellers ok. Fin beliggenhet i et rolig område med kort vei til sjøen. Omtrent 20 minutter å gå til gamlebyen. Bra frokost! Et minus var et stort tre som skygget for utsikten fra balkongen."
