Family room for four.
Our stay was wonderful only stayed one night but would definitely come back and would stay longer, staff where friendly and the breakfast was wonderful.

This is a lovely location; very picturesque--on a working farm. Great views. Room was small but nice and clean. Room stays warm without a problem, but the common area (which is quite nice) was pretty cold. (To be fair, we were there in November during an energy crisis.) The remoteness of the place is definitely its charm, though it was a bit of a trek to get there. Parking was very convenient. It was dark and very rainy when we arrived, and so we decided to order food (via Uber Eats) rather than venture out again. Breakfast was included and very good.

Ok but wouldn't stay again, sorry
Unfortunately, the welcome we received wasn't particularly friendly. The room we stayed in was ok but the beds were not particularly comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Fantastic place to stay
You are greeted by a fabulous house and lovely garden that is a sun trap. The room was lovely with good facilities. The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful, making you feel comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic.

Lovely stay at a proper B&B with excellent breakfasts and friendly hosts. The room was comfy and well-equipped. Location was good - very near Skipton but out in the countryside - great in early spring with lots of lambs, but glad we didn't have to negotiate the winding country lanes in the snow! Parking quite tight too.

Cracking B and B with fantastic breakfast and really fresh eggs! I would definitely stay again when in the area. Don't believe what your sat Nav tells you where to go, it is about half a mile before you get there

The most amazing place to stay even though its out of the way. The staff were amazing, the room was very nice and the breakfast was superb. a must stay if in the area.

Country Living Elegance
Country living style beautiful farm house with views to die for. Good sized well appointed single room. Lovely owners who were very accommodating. Great breakfast full of lovely food and not skimpy.

Lovely weekend getaway

You've got to go 😁
It was a beautiful building in a beautiful location. Everyone was very friendly. I had fresh fruit and toast for breakfast which was delicious could have done with a bit of grapefruit but not a deal breaker 😉 my husband had a full breakfast which he said was lovely. The bed and bedding were super comfy I didn't want to get up! Would recommend and would definitely stay there again.

In spite of the weather the views over the valley are spectacular. The friendliness of the owners and staff is first class as are the rooms. The only downside was the driving standard of the locals on the very narrow roads, how my wing mirrors remained fixed to my car is miraculous.

Quiet retreat in Yorkshire Dales
Throstle Nest Farm is in a beautiful rural location just outside of Skipton. The view across the valley is amazing. The rooms and facilities including breakfast were outstanding. A truly pleasurable stay and will certainly book there again if visiting the area. So peaceful and quite and friendly people.

Excellent find at Throstlenest. Highly recommend for if you are visiting Yorkshire. Fabulous room with king bed and gorgeous on suite. Parking on site. Paula and the ladies were extremely helpful and friendly. Beautiful and tasty breakfast offered the next morning to set you up for any hiking(if you choose to) beautiful scenery surrounding this beautiful farmhouse. Only regret is only staying 1 night. Wish I had stayed for more. Will definitely Return.

The property has been tastefully modernised whilst taking into account and maintaining the original character of the building. We were particularly impressed with the open balcony which allowed light in when going upstairs to the room and also gave us the perfect view out onto the beautiful fields and hills which surround the farm. Our room was spacious, clean and very well presented. Everything we needed was close to hand. There reception room was welcoming, just the place I’d imagine you’d love to step into from a cold winter’s day! The dining room was spacious and in keeping with the rest of the building - clean and very well presented. The breakfast itself was excellent, no complaints at all. Plentiful and freshly made, what’s not to like about a full English! The staff/owners could not have been more welcoming, helpful and pleasant! Making us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. Can’t praise them highly enough and Rocky the little dog also did his very best to ensure we enjoyed our stay! We will definitely be booking to return to Throstle Nest Farm in 2022! Thank you all!

Throstle Nest Farm is a lovely place to stay. The outlook is beautiful. Breakfast first class. Our room & shower room had everthing required. & spotless. Comfy bed, hairdryer & plenty of drawer & wardrobe space including TV & lovely furnishings. Garden was a treat. Lots of places to visit. Had an enjoyable time. Steam train a must. James Herriot's house & veterinary was very interesting. Also lots of pubs, cafés & shops.
