Hoteller nær Skálholt historiske sted

«Rommet var rent, men litt dumt at man ikke kan slå av viften på badet når lyset er på»

«Decided to stay two nights. Room was absolutely excellent and fresh, great bed, comfortable duvet and linens, lovely bathroom and a big room. Ice cream and food good and I loved the farm hotel concept where you can look at the cows when eating. I’m not a city girl and not unfamiliar with farm life, but still loved it. Location is quite perfect. »

«So bad!! We've been trying to get in contact with the owners, but with no luck. So here it comes.... - There was old poop stains in the toilet that we had to remove ourselves - A dried pool of urine under the toilet - Used shampoo bottle in the shower left by someone else - The mirror in the bathroom is dirty - The refridgerator was unplugged and warm when we arrived - The bedsheets weren't washed thouroughly enough as there were stains of dead bugs in them - Several dead bugs on the window ...

«Et utmerket sted som utgangspunkt for mange flotte opplevelser»

«Ironically the absolute best place we stayed in all of Iceland. Amenities like a kitchen and hot tub and just the amazing view made this extremely worthwhile. Very clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and responsive to my questions. Even providing suggestions. Location was perfect for the Golden Circle. So dark at night we saw the Northern lights in late August. We loved this cabin. Would definitely come again.»

«Really unique accomodation. A bit of crumbles under the bed, could have been better vacuumed. All in all a cute little place, nice common area with showers, toilet and kitchen. Really friendly staff»

«Fin ny hytte, supert personale, stille og rolig i flotte omgiivelser»

«Friendly and service oriented front desk. Due to incoming storm next day and our need to travel to Reykjavík, got valuable information, Opted for the restaurant with excellent Island Bacalao. »

«Our stay at the Green Geysir Cottage was wonderful. This property is relatively new, with more being built. Its one of the BEST places that we have stayed in Iceland. The cottage was clean, comfortable, private and close to many attractions. Well equipped kitchen/great room area, very nice private bedroom/bathroom set up. The property hot tub was large and well maintained. We will definitely be staying her for several nights on our next trip.»

«Just wow!!! The view and how the owners managed to build such a tiny cabin (as per the description) while using every inch of the cabin to make it useful and easy to use! Great job and we wish we stayed more than one night!»

«Solheimar Eco-Village was a pleasant place to stay, just a short drive from Selfoss, Gullfoss, and Flúðir. We were two people staying in a double room with a private bathroom. The room was spacious and comfortable. We never actually met any of the staff. Check-in was self-service, and the key was hanging by the entrance door. However, the other guests were very friendly. There was a large shared kitchen, which worked very well. A short walk away, there was a community building with a cafeteria ...

«I just gave the stars on the look of this place. Unfortunately we were not able to stay the night we had booked this place for. We were stuck on the highway for the whole night because of a bad accident. By the time it cleared it was time to reach our next tour booking of Glacier hike. I’m still waiting if I would get some kind of compensation»

«Beautiful place to see northern lights in a hot tub!»

«Fantastisk og helt unik sted!»

«This was a great place to stay, although a little bit out of the way, still within striking distance of Selfoss. Being out in the sticks a bit I believed helped in our viewing of the northern lights while we were there - that was awesome. Bed was really comfy and the room well equipped. The shower was interesting since there was no door or curtain on one side so challenging to keep the water from going everywhere!! Hot tub was really nice - very relaxing - and the shared “kitchen/bar” area ...

«We stayed here for two nights, great location property needs better upkeep and cleanliness, lots of bugs inside, staff was not very helpful and communicated poorly about how to access the property. Overall 3 out of 5 at best.»
