«The cottage is in an ideal location for biking and restaurants. Very quiet after a hard days play. Our only complaint(s)were the bathroom sink needs some TLC, trickle of water at most and the sink was very slow to drain. Needed more kitchen trash bags. Ole time bikers»

«The northern side of Door County is beautiful and quiet. This property is right in the water with a hot tub, kayaks, fire pit, and other great amenities. Come sit in the yard and watch the sunset, swim and see a shipwreck right off the shore, walk to the ferry boat for Washington Island, bike the neighborhood or drive to nearby hiking areas. You can’t go wrong renting this place! The friendly owner lives nearby which is helpful if you have any issues or questions. »

«A totally charming cabin with a rare beach access with its own dock! It is a magical location, and the furnishings were eclectic and comfortable. The host lives nearby and was very friendly and responsive to any questions or concerns. It is the perfect combination of peaceful, out-of-the-way seclusion yet just minutes away from Sister Bay, the County's most cosmopolitan village.»

«We have enjoyed staying at this property at least 2 times/year for several years. The location on the water is perfect and the sunsets are stunning. The small kitchen is wonderful for being able to have several means there, and the space works well for just my husband and me. Dan & Gretel are wonderful hosts! I enjoyed taking one of the new see-through paddle-boards out for a try!!»

«We were here last year in august with our granddaughters and this time with our pups. The cottage is perfect for us … fenced in front yard for the pups and a beautiful backyard for us. Unfortunately both times we were here there was a ton of algae so we were not able to let the dogs go in. I think the only negative is that it’s not ours!!!!😀»

«This is a perfect cabin with everything we needed, except a cool lake breeze during our late August 3 night stay. Happened to be sweltering so comfortable sleep was hard to come by even with the very thoughtful fan or 3 in every room. Can’t wait to go back a different time of year to experience the lake during different seasons. «It was a very comfortable house for us and our dog, and conveniently located to hiking areas and wineries. We suggest that you bring your own drinking water or take advantage of the counter top water filter they provided. If the neighbors to the right of the property are permanent residents, you will not be able to enjoy a quiet evening outside as their dogs barked constantly. Hopefully, this was a one-off. «The house which is on the small size makes, up for this in its location! On the shore of Kangaroo Lake, which is about 50 feet from the front door, the setting is serene and peaceful. About 5 minutes from Bailey's Harbor, it truly is beautiful! A great location to launch exploring of Door County. Martina is a wonderful host who made sure our stay was welcoming and our every need met! We are already planning our next stay here! »

«We only stayed here one night, but this condo was so nice. The decor was modern and seemed brand new. It’s right across from the sister bay beach which was an amazing location. Beds were comfortable and the kids had their own room and bathroom. It was perfect, we would highly recommend!»
