The property is in a quiet, lovely, neighborhood, but close enough to walk to car free day, the market at Oro-Oro Dowo, and the Malabar City Forest, as well as other places around Jalan Semeru. The rooms are spacious and super clean with beds with nice linens, the staff is always friendly and they treat guests with kindness.»

«Shanaya had so many things to offers, It’s a village so choose your villa wisely, if you want a good rest, Further down villa with a private pool will be a good option, but if you want it to be more convenient in term of access and closeness to lobby, then you have to choose older villas without private pool (don’t worry, their public pool just a step away anyway). The staff are nice; the buggy driver was also very friendly. Shout-out to the mini zoo keeper —he was so lovely and friendly. ...

«It was affordable stay near street food stalls. It is not a 5* so you get what you pay for. The swimming pool and internet were good. I would stay again. Breakfast some day ala carte some buffet, not many choices, tasty tho »

«Comfortable temps in Malang. We had a good rest there after a very bussy Family visiting at X-mas and Newyear time With big familyparties every day. Only Volcano Bromo made trouble for us. They closed the airport so we had to leave the plane and take a taxi to Surabaya to fly to Jakarta.»

«All was lovely. The staff were pleasant. Typical Javanese Breakfast of rice, noodles, tempeh and coffee was good. The room was nice and location was on a quite Street just off of Ijen with several local restaurants nearby. We were hoping to extend our stay for a week but the WiFi was nonexistent and we could not get cell service in the room. WiFi worked okay in the lobby just outside but because of this we found another hotel just around the corner.»
