On the whole, the room was clean and functional for our two nights stay. What I don’t like is the bathroom was too crammed. The toilet seat didn’t fit the toilet (probably a later addition). The hairdryer was cumbersome (fixed into the back end of a drawer - I presume to prevent theft). Since I hv short hair, I gave up trying to figure out how to make it work!!

We booked a triple bedroom . They called "luxury room". Even for two people is extremely small. No space for the luggage. No closet !!! At reception they said that is the size for a triple room in Singapur. I really don't believe that. The pool is also very small . The location is fine.

The photos are somewhat deceptive. The rooms were a shoebox and no wardrobes . Clothes were hung on a small rack or hooks. Only for 1-2 people for one night. Not a long stay hotel . However, the staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to be friendly and of service. The hotel is ideally located, with easy MRT access to all attractions.

Hotel was centrally located - easy access to public transit. Friendly and helpful staff. In particular, front desk agent, Nikki, was very helpful to us on our last day during our check out - appreciated that she provided us a general room to freshen up before we catch our red eye flight out. The hotel is located near the MRT station and in a relatively walkable area. The room was on the small side, but not a problem for me. It was clean and well presented with tea making facilities too. Only thing that me down was the air conditioning which wasn't cold enough and noise from the indoor corridor - it may have been the staff/other guests loudly talking.

Very convenient to the MRT, about 100m outside the front door. Also both Hop On Hop Off, bus routes about the same distance outside the door. Some places to eat and drink within a short walk too. Overall, happy with the peice I paid and how easy it was to get anywhere in Singapore from this hotel.

This hotel is centrally located, so it’s a convenient walk to nearby dining options and public transportation. Little India is just 4 blocks away and Chinatown just 2 stops away on the metro. The property itself is an older building with its breakfast served in an adjacent restaurant. The standard guestrooms are small, but overall it is a comfortable stay and reasonably priced.

The staff is great, very friendly, very nice, very helping, etc. But the room is extremely basic and small)… The Air conditioning didn’t cool - after 2 hours I call the reception who sent someone who put is on 18*C (64*F), by the next morning the room had cool to to 23.7*F (75*F) - so not working properly. The walls are paper thin, you can hear people walking (not to mention talking) in the corridor. I could hear the TV from the room accros the corridor… at 05.15 am heard my next door alarm clock, then at 06.00 my other neighbor clock… Being on the 3rd floor, you can hear the water from the 6 floors above, running down the pipe. The pool was nice to relax in. Buffet breakfast very simple.

一番のネックはトイレのペーパーがミニティッシュである事。南国特有のウォシュレットの代わりとなるトイレのホースもないので非常に不便。 2日目のベッドメークをお願いしても、夕方外出から帰ってもやっていなかった。 朝食はビュッフェだが、どれも味がほとんどなく、自分で近くのベーカリーで食べる事をお勧めします。

Very positive expirence
During my recent stay at hotel Mi, I found many aspects to be commendable. Firstly, the hotel's location was incredibly convenient, making it easy for me to explore the area. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, with immaculate rooms and common areas that were well-maintained. Most of the front desk staff were lovely and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my stay. However, I encountered an issue with one particular staff member, a young woman working the desk later at night. During check-in, she gave off the impression that I was interrupting her, which was off-putting. Later, when I approached her with a question about the breakfast included in my stay, she completely ignored me, engrossed in her phone. Despite being right in front of her, she didn't look up or acknowledge my presence. In fact, she spent so much time playing on her phone that I could vividly describe it – it looked like a white iphone with some sort of black and silver attachment. I left without receiving any assistance or acknowledgment, feeling quite frustrated by the lack of professionalism. Overall, while the hotel's location, cleanliness, and most of the staff were commendable, the negative experience with the young woman at the front desk was disappointing and left a sour note on an otherwise amazing stay. I will still give 5 stars as her treatment was a very minor situation and loved this hotel.

Thumbs up to Hotel Mi Bencoolen
I have a very pleasant stay at the hotel. Hotel is conveniently located next to the Downtown and Circle Lines (MRT) and bus stations. It about 7 minutes walk to a major shopping mall and Orchard road, 3 mins to Starbucks and food courts and convenient stores. Room was small but clean and comfortable.

Great location - all else, meh!
This hotel is very well situated in Singapore. Great area and very walkable to many attractions and sites. That's the only redeeming feature. Unfortunately it's a very budget hotel. It does not warrant a 4 star rating. Be forewarned that rooms are extremely small. I cannot be clearer about how miniature they are. Only the bare basics are provided. Would I stay here again? Maybe. Would I look for something better? You better believe it.
