«We had four adults and four kids and this was a great location for everyone. Kids are all under 10 and the upstairs bedrooms were perfect for them. Lots of space in the rental for everyone. The fire pit was perfect and a nice secluded property. The best part was the lake access just down the road. Took the boats out on the water w the kids and they loved it. Highly recommend this rental.»

«The property was beautiful. Had everything you would need for a visit. We did get lost finding the house but was able to find it shortly after realizing we drove right past it. Suggest putting a light on the sign that shows the property number. »

«Nice way to spend some quality time with family. The snow played spoilsport, but the cabin was well stocked with firewood and the fireplace was the perfect place for family to sit around and enjoy. Kudos to the owner for having thought of every small details in and around the cabin.»

Would have liked an instruction binder accessible rather than pulling up online how to care for the residence and a list of local food delivery/restaurants would have been nice. «We enjoyed this cottage for a fall vacation weekend. It’s a nice two bedroom that easily fit my family of 5. The kitchen was well stocked and we took full advantage of the warm weather for some grilling. There is a pretty view of the lake from the house and a small marsh. It was a short walk down a wooded path to the private waterfront area with a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and a large dock. We sat out on the dock and enjoyed the fall colors around the lake. You can either carry out your vacation on site or travel 30 minutes to Portland or just a little bit more to all of Maine's great beaches. «It was lovely to see so many stars and listen to the stream. We also enjoyed the fire in the wood stove (although we had to stoke it every couple hours). The bed was very comfortable. The walk up in the snow was more strenuous than we expected. Next time we'll pack as if for a hiking trip. We'll also stay for more than one night so we can explore the hiking trails.»

«Thank you for a great long weekend in Maine. Half of our family enjoyed skiing at Mt. Pleasant for a day when the other half of our family cross country skied at king pine. «My husband and I really enjoyed this lovely log cabin in Jackson, NH. We were impressed with how solid and well-built the cabin is. The decor is simple and unique. As others mentioned, the 2 downstairs beds have very firm mattresses. An extra blanket on each for warmth as the nights get colder would be nice. The location is convenient, yet private and quiet. The owners have made it easy to know what to expect and their " house rules " are reasonable. We would stay there again.»

«We came up to get our kids (4&6) skiing at pleasant mountain. Location was convenient and well priced for a very low key long weekend. House had what we needed including games and puzzles. We were able to get out and explore both bridgton and North Conway easily. We spent little time outside on the property with some wet weather but imagine that would have upped the experience another notch.»

«We booked this location, because we wanted to go to the Fryburg Fair and North Conway Outlets. It was just 20 minutes from Fryburg and 40 minutes from North Conway. In the evenings we sat out on the patio and checked out the foliage at the Pond. There was an extra friendly neighborhood dog that stopped by for a quick visit.»
