«It was a special family get away to celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary. The Villa is spectacular, but the views are incredible! We even watched a hot air balloon fly over Siena at dawn! Everything we could need to cook at the Villa was provided, we hired a chef on night and he had everything he needed as well! «The location was excellent, 30 minute walk (2.1 km) to the main gate of Siena or 15 minute bus ride (bus stop 25 meters from the house). The home is beautiful, lots of amenities, it was very rustic. The pool area could use a good trimming, the online photos showed the property better than it actually was but not too far off.»

A car is required as taxi service is scarce, and restaurants are a 10 minute drive away. Lavinia and her family oversee the whole operation and are remarkable in their service. «The apartment is very spacious with lots of antiques and has a home from home feel. It is about a 20 min walk into town, uphill in places but straight forward. Parking is tight so bring a small car 😊. The views across to the old town are great and the balcony space a plus.»
