  • På den vakre landsbygda like utenfor Siena (3 km), omgitt av olivenlunder, tilbyr denne gamle villaen med 12 senger romslige interiører og store uterom med privat svømmebasseng, alt i en rolig og veldig panoramisk beliggenhet over byen.

    Villaen ligger i det grønne på landsbygda, men ligger bare ca. 3 km fra Siena (mindre som kråka flyr) som vises bare "foran", fascinerende på alle døgnets tider.

    Første etasje: stor inngang, dobbel stue, elegant spisestue med utgang til terrasse og rosehage, fullt utstyrt kjøkken, vaskerom, 2 bad, studie / enkeltrom;
    1. etasje: suite med utsikt over Siena og privat bad, stor stue, 2 doble soverom, 2 doble soverom, 1 enkelt soverom, 2 romslige bad med badekar / dusj.

    Område foran grus, skyggelagt av et stort lindetrær og med panoramautsikt over Siena, terrasse, italiensk rosehage, svømmebasseng omgitt av hekker (på 20 m). Et lite privat kapell kan brukes til velsignelser og bryllup. Tidligere sitronhus for arrangementer.
    Vi er tilgjengelige for informasjon om Siena og dens omgivelser, tips for turer og aktiviteter, restaurant- og begivenhetsreservasjoner; organisering av private middager på forespørsel.

    Det er lurt å ha en bil, men på ca. 500 m langs en landevei, er det et busstopp med forbindelser til det historiske sentrum av Siena.
    Et ideelt sted å slappe av mens du nyter en unik utsikt. I den tilstøtende eiendommen administrerer eierne selv B&B Podere La Strega.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa. The views were absolutely breathtaking and made every meal on the terrace feel magical. The location was perfect, close enough to the city that we even enjoyed a leisurely run there some mornings. It was also very easy to access by car, and the hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay. We would happily stay here again.

Amazing Tuscan Escape

I booked Letizia's amazing Villa for a week-long birthday celebration and we loved every minute of our time in the Tuscan sun! It was great to be able to relax by the pool in the peace of the countryside amongst the olive groves while still being only a short walk away from Siena, we just wish we could have stayed for longer!

A special place!

It was a special family get away to celebrate a 60th wedding anniversary. The Villa is spectacular, but the views are incredible! We even watched a hot air balloon fly over Siena at dawn! Everything we could need to cook at the Villa was provided, we hired a chef on night and he had everything he needed as well! It’s wonderfully close to Siena but also some other great little towns to bike or drive too. It was great to have our host next door when we had some questions, but it was very easy to settle in and enjoy!

Beautiful Villa with Old World Charm

My husband and I spent the month of May 2024 at the Villa with some extended family members. We enjoyed our stay so much and Letizia is an excellent hostess and resource just next door. Our numbers varied over the month with twelve being the most at any one time. We never felt crowded as there are two main living areas, one on each floor, and the eat-in kitchen and outdoor areas. You're never quite sure if the venue will live up to expectations when booking, but we were instantly charmed by the decor and the setting overlooking Siena. We ate family meals on the patio overlooking the rose garden and enjoyed sitting under the tree in the patio in the evenings watching the lights of Siena and in the mornings especially when the hot air balloons were flying over the city. The villa was our base as we explored Siena and the rest of Tuscany. If you're looking for a true Italian Villa with spacious bedrooms and bathrooms while maintaining the Old World Charm, this is your place. Thank you, Letizia, and we look forward to staying with you again.

Our Favorite Lodging of 3-Week Vacation!

We stayed at this beautiful villa as a family of 8 for 3 nights in April 2019. The view of Siena is breathtaking. We had a car, so drove into Siena 3 times, parking at the lot near the bottom of the long escalators that lead up into town. Some of our group also visited Montepulciano and Volterra. I chose to forego the afternoon trip to Volterra in order to spend the time at the villa, doing laundry while taking in the calming view and beautiful surroundings - so relaxing! One of my nieces, an artist, spent a day painting various plants and vistas at the house. It's an ideal rental for large groups, with 7 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. There are plenty of dishes and cookware. We made dinner ourselves 2 nights. Especially fun is eating dinner outside, while taking in the sunset and scenery. For breakfast we had the option of eating at the Bed and Breakfast next door, for an extra fee. I don't know if this is possible all year round, especially when the B & B is fully booked. I hope to stay in this villa again! Thank you, Letizia, for your hospitality.

Priceless

I have always loved the beautiful Tuscan city of Siena, Italy. My husband wanted to give me a special birthday, so he rented the villa overlooking the city and invited our family to join us. My family responded by coming and being part of my birthday celebration . There were 10 of us and if you asked them about our stay at La Strega they would all tell you it was magical, perfect, beautiful, and a vacation they will never forget. Like all families they all want and expect different things from their time away from important but stressful careers. We have traveled together more than most families and although they enjoyed the trips, there was always something they would change. Two weeks at La Strega and there was never even a whisper of discontent. The villa is large enough for everyone to retreat to their own private space and also spaces to join together and be a family. Our hosts, Letizia and Corsino were very accommodating and answered our every question and filled our every request. We asked for and they provided breakfast, an amazing birthday dinner, a wine tasting and a private chef to teach us several Italian courses. Those experiences as well as the villa, and the property, were priceless. Would I return to La Strega? Absolutely! In the meantime I have amazing memories of the beautiful villa and all it offers. Perfect villa, perfect view of Siena

Letizia gave us a wonderful welcome. Her villa is the best we have ever stayed in: huge well equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms for twelve of us, pool and trampoline for the children and outdoor seating with that amazing view of Siena. Many thanks to the two wonderful cleaners and Franco the gardener. Our highlight was the outdoor banquet provided by Letizia and her team. We all agreed this was our best ever family holiday.
