This old barn has been renovated with love and dedication by Claudio and his wife Angelica in order to offer their guests an enchanting place equipped with every comfort, but at the same time
give the feeling of living in the real Tuscany, without losing contact with the tradition, with the teachings of our ancestors, with the true flavor of the slightly grumpy and fascinating
Tuscan one, made up of few words, good wine, good food, breathtaking views with endless sunsets, that from the garden of this spectacular place, you will never finish enjoy.
Outside there is a veranda to relax in the evening and dine in front of the sunset on the private garden.
The villa is totally independent even if it is part of a village therefore on three sides it is absolutely isolated with a private garden and without introspection, inaccessible to anyone else.
The owners live in the adjacent part (the fourth side) and are at your disposal for any need: they produce honey and they will be there to welcome you upon their arrival.

The villa has 4 double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom (one is also accessible for disabled), two are located on the ground floor and two on the upper floor.
The ground floor boosts a laundry room with washing machine, a living room, a large kitchen in a typically Tuscan style with a very long traditional table, induction hob.
Air conditioning everywhere.
On the ground floor one of the bedrooms and a bathroom are suitable for guests with limited mobility
Pets on request and against payment
Tourist tax euro 2 per person per day
Air conditioning included in the price
Heating to be paid on the spot according to consumption
Hottube open from Apr 1st to Oct 30th (open on request from Nov 1st to March 31st)

This was a perfect house for our family with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The design is brilliant. Our host, Angelica, thought of everything for our stay. The kitchen was well stocked and perfect for our cooking class that we coordinated with Best of Mas. The property is spectacular with incredible views and stunning sunsets. The location is great, close to Siena, and accessible to many wineries. I highly recommend this house! I want to go back and stay longer! Perfect for families and small groups!!

Fabulous

This villa was perfect for us while we were visiting Tuscany. The hosts were so nice and welcomed us with wine, homemade honey, and fresh eggs. The villa was well equipped and spotless. All of us wouldn’t hesitate to go back!

End Cap

This little treasure just outside Sienna just drew us and we were very happy to have the opportunity to stay albeit 3 nights. The residence is set up very nicely with 2 ensuites down stairs and 2 more upstairs. The country kitchen is modern, our private chef was pleased with what he had to work with. Angelica was proficient professional and understanding!. I made an error in funds, she patiently explained and allowed to make things right! Though embarrassing she helped make an awkward moment disappear! The views in the morning and at dusk were exquisite. Do bring some spray for the mosquitoes as there is an irrigation pond newr by. Day trips to Arrezo, San Gimignano,& our favorite Monteriggioni were very doable. Must stay on your itinerary!

Perfect place and vacation in Siena!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was at this property. The hosts were welcoming and accommodating but not intrusive in any way. We traveled with our teens and the house was perfect and immaculately clean upon arrival. A bottle of Rosso and jar of honey from their own apiary on the property was waiting for us. Beautiful and authentic kitchen and dining area, beautiful rooms and the views were second to none. The property was just gorgeous from the patio with table and chairs plus the hot tub to the views from the grill and sitting area just below the house and the sunsets to the west overlooking the countryside. The family went out of their way to make us feel welcome including cutting fresh produce from their garden and providing charcoal to use the grill to make our steak bought in nearby Panzano (Dario Cecchini). Hot summer but the ac was great. Plenty of shaded areas. Location is close to Siena and drivable to Florence. A fantastic stay in Tuscany. We can’t wait to return.

Sublime in Siena

From the check-in, you will understand why I used the word sublime. This VRBO does not disappoint, it is perfection. The pictures do not do this home justice, it is so much more beautiful in person :) Angelica & Claudio make sure you are welcomed to this home away from home. Angelica showed our family of 6 around this beautiful space and made sure she left us with fresh eggs and honey from the farm; along with a bottle of wine from a local vineyard. They keep in contact with you to make sure you are happy. Can't wait to return and stay at Capanna di Elfo again.

Beautiful tranquility

The home was as shown online. Nicely appointed, everything needed to just relax and enjoy the scenery. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, good quality. The property is very well maintained, pretty flowers around, nice seating areas with a beautiful view. Quiet, peaceful area. The location is very convenient for day trips to many of the villages in Tuscany. Angelica was prompt to respond to questions and helpful. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The pictures don't do this property justice! It's magnificent!

The view from the yard it what you think Tuscany is: green hills topped with cypress trees as far as you can see. It's calming and relaxing, the owner was wonderful and very helpful, the rooms and bathrooms were modern and well appointed, very well insulated, couldn't hear ANY noise. There was la living room and a kitchen with a large refrigerator and everything we needed in it. LOVED IT and highly recommend it for a true Tuscan experience!

Under The Tuscan Sun!!!🌞

This beautiful property exceeded our expectations! We were traveling with three other couples and the house was exceptionally clean, roomy and had everything we needed. Words can’t properly describe the beauty everywhere you look. On our last evening we were treated to the most amazing sunset ever! Our sweet host Claudio and Angelica were very helpful and generously shared fresh eggs and honey from their chickens and honey bees. We would book this property again in a heartbeat!!

The Best

Outstanding home - every detail attended to- fully stocked kitchen- a basket of eggs from their chickens and their own honey on the kitchen table for our arrival- stunning property about 10 minutes outside of Siena- very peaceful and relaxing- 4 large bedrooms with en-suite baths-Angelica greeted us and explained how everything worked- she is delightful. Only complaint was the weather (end of April) lots of rain. No dryer - hard to dry clothes on a rack and couldn’t use the jacuzzi. Also Siena was extremely crowded with a definite lack of parking- This home is a little piece of heaven on earth.

Our Tuscany visit

We LOVED our stay in the Villa!! Angelica was a fabulous host. The home, the gardens, the views… words cannot describe how beautiful it all was!! There were three couples traveling together, the house was perfectly equipped with everything we needed. Our sunset dinner in the garden followed by time in the hot tub was the perfect way to end our last day there! ❤️

Exceeded expectations

From the moment we set eyes on this place, we knew that we chose well. Not only is it exquisitely beautiful, but it is very comfortable. The setting is spectacular. The owners who greeted us were friendly. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were good too with plenty of hot water in the showers. The kitchen was well-equipped. Al fresco eating made it perfect. We hated to leave and would recommend others to book without any questions.

Espectacular casa y vistas increíbles de La Toscana, muy cerca de Siena

Pasamos unos días inolvidables en la casa de Angelica. Los dueños de la casa viven al lado y están siempre disponibles para atender tus necesidades. La casa esta totalmente equipada y todo es de excelente calidad. Todo es muy nuevo. El hot tube funciona muy bien. Y la ubicación es perfecta, porque estas a minutos de os restaurantes y del supermercado. Por supuesto hay que tener auto.

Great house and lovely hosts

The house was an excellent fit for our group, plenty of seating, beds and bathrooms. And beautifully clean and well maintained. The hosts were very responsive; we lost heat and power due to a storm, and they addressed it right away. A car is required, the house is 15 minutes from Siena. Children might enjoy the ducks, and the view was amazing. Thank you Angelica and Claudio!

Sienna countryside

We were greeted upon arrival and the host was readily available for any of our needs. We were pleasantly surprised with fresh eggs and the host’s own homemade honey. The property itself was VERY tastefully decorated, very clean and the accommodations were top notch. The views were spectacular and every room inside and outside the house was comfortable. Beautifuly restored Tuscan Villa with terrific views. Centrally located for day trips around Tuscany. Villa very nicely furnished with plenty of room for 3 or 4 couples.

Incredible peaceful retreat

We LOVED this place! The proximity to Siena (10 mins), the views (rolling hills in every direction, incredible sunset), the outdoor covered patio where we enjoyed a chef prepared dinner and the ample space inside for our party of 5 plus toddler. There were chickens and ducks on the property and a swing set. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was great with plenty of hot water. We would absolutely stay here again!

Tuscan Paradise

The villa was absolutely beautiful! Great views of Siena and outdoor seating area with hot tub. It was nicely decorated with a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed several delicious home cooked meals there after days of touring the region. The hosts were lovely warm and welcoming people. Let us pick tomatoes from the garden for our salad. I would highly recommend for couples traveling together. Perfect property!

Wonderful home in Tuscany!

You won’t be disappointed if you stay here! Fabulous 4 bedroom, 4 full baths, completely updated and very nicely appointed home, we all recommend you stay here. The hosts are very easy to get along with and very welcoming. It is spacious, with nice Tuscan views and close to several medieval cities like Siena, Florence, and Montepulciao. We highly recommend, the best place we stayed in Italy!

A Stay We Will Never Forget

We have stayed in many vacation rentals, but none compared to this fabulous home. Angelica and Claudio, along with the team at Best of Mas were fantastic. The home is so beautiful and thoughtfully designed. The surrounding gardens, view, and property made us feel right at home in Tuscany. Easy access to Siena and groceries. We can't say enough nice things about this home and the hosts. Can't wait to return. This will be our go-to spot in Siena.

Beautiful view w local flavor!

Great location, beautiful views, house is very nice and comfortable with authentic Italian flavor. The WiFi and air condition worked well for my teenagers. Nice to sit on the back patio area and enjoy family time! The hosts were super nice and even though we spoke English they helped get us any information we needed. We used the coordinator Best of Mas for our winery tours and they we private and amazing! Highly recommended!!! So lovely!
