«They put us in the wrong room. We paid for a larger room but only in the morning did the receptionist advise us of her mistake. The room was comfortable and clean but I did slice my finger quite deeply on a broken tile around where a new shower head was installed. It was like a razor and needs to be fixed. We should also get a refund of the difference between the room I booked and the standard roomI received. It is quiet, bed is comfortable and the air-conditioning works well.»

«Mackay is not the center of the world, and the city has clearly suffered after Covid with a lot of store closures etc. It also doesn’t have the big tourist streams as larger Australian cities have. Seeing the selection of hotels, we chose to stay at the Ocean International as it is situated beautifully at the beach with a wonderful garden. Given that the hotel is quite affordable, we did expected that the hotel would be somewhat in need of renovation and that we were not to expect a premium ...

«Is a Comfortable enough Hotel handy place to stay on the way through for a quick stop overnight.»

«Meget bra motell. Eier bor på anlegget og var meget service minded. Fikk faktisk gratis øl ved ankomst. Freshed og ryddig over alt. Lite av interesse i lokal området, men et supert sted for en lovernatting.»

«We arrived and there was no one at reception. It looked as if the place had been abandoned. There was a message on the desk to ring a number for service and after two attempts the call went to voicemail. My partner made another attempt to get a reply from that number. We received instructions on how to find our room which we eventually did. The room was ok but there was no wifi, neither of the bed lamps worked. The bar and restaurant were closed and we did not see any staff during our stay. ...

«Bra rom og hyggelig betjening ved ankomst.»

«A nice room to stay in for work»

«Proximity to beach and pub»

«room was clean but the rest of the place needs work.. over looking the fact that they had put a single bed sheet sideways across a queen size bed on a mattress protecter that had blood on it and when we asked the staff if they could fix it they dropped off a queen size just in side the door so we could do it ourselves.»

«Very clean rooms..pool area excellent & great parking space»

«Could provide containers suitable to cook in the microwave.»

«The housekeepers were great and super kind. The FOH staff were NOT. Room was OK- No Smart TV as I have had in previous occasions and 2 cockroaches in the room (I guess its the season for it).»

«Helt ok for en natts overnatting.»
