«The property is secluded and very quiet and lovely for a weekend get away. No tv which we found a nice change. The seating inside the cottage wasn't great for us, being in our 60's, it would have been nice to have a lounge to sit and snuggle up on. Overall a really nice place, very clean and tidy and the host was friendly and very helpful.»

«Of all the places I stayed in NZ and Australia this was my favourite and I just wish we could have stayed longer. It is top of my list of places to come back and stay again. I absolutely loved it. The grounds are spectacular. The serenity was very welcome after some busy days. Loved the lake at sunset and sunrise. Great to be close to Noosa and Coolum but away from the hustle and whole “scene” but close enough to go in for beach time, dinner or hiking. This place was perfection!! »

«From the moment we arrived we were impressed! Noel greeted us and showed us around the property and we felt instantly welcomed and relaxed. There has been a lot of attention to detail including home made food in the fridge and pantry and the fluffiest robes ever. The cabin was in pristine condition and the local kookaburras kept us company each morning.»

«We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is so very beautiful. My only note to the hosts would be to be a little clearer to guests that the kitchen doesn't have an oven, just the cooktop. (It was clear there was no microwave, but we were a little surprised there was no oven either). But we had a good adventure using the wood-fired pizza oven instead. Other than that tiny suggestion, we had a very lovely time.»

«Set just down the hill from Montville village, this cute cottage is well-located with a lovely view over the forests to the west of the range. The gazebo offers lovely shade in the middle of the day and has spectacular views of sunsets. There are several other garden tables and chairs for a slightly different view for each cup of tea, coffee or your favourite beverage. There's lots to do in the area. We'd highly recommend the Maleny Botatanic Gardens and Bird World as well as a browse through ...
