«The location for our stay was very good. This is not a hotel, it is a private residence with the feel of a house rental, owner was over the top accommodating, speaking English and Japanese + other languages, this property is a work in progress as the owner is making many improvements, right now the property is very basic in terms of amenities, mattress' very very stiff, and bedding was clean but dated, our unit had a washer and dryer all in one unit, no ironing board and a useless iron, lighting ...

«This property is alright, if you are on a short stay. If you are staying for 3 or more days, I do not suggest as this is an unmanned property. I only got to know after booking was confirmed! There was no indication when I was booking! This is not friendly at all. Additionally, there were many small flies from my 2nd day onwards. I tried messaging property but response was slow. Had to get my local contact call them before they reacted. On top of that, when housekeeping was sent, a sloppy job ...

«The house is much smaller, but is in a very nice neighborhood, and is surrounded by severel ammeneties to help with your visit, in a few minutes is a familymart and a 7-eleven, 5 minutes away is a grocery chain (Bel-X) and a Daiso, and the station thats 8 minutes away connects to a decent amount, with the easiest to access being Kita-Senju, allowing quick travel to most of the main areas, notably akihabara with the express liner. Decent price, but would reccomend for anyone with a group of ...

«The only complexity was obtaining all of the details of the stay. They sent a link to a Google Drive with 6 PDF files detailing getting to the place and opening the door. I had to call to ask them to send the link after I emailed a full copy of my passport. They have some laundry facilities (a washer, no drier) but you must provide your own detergent. I only stayed one night, so had no time. Definitely could accommodate 4 travelers; I was there by myself. The interior was great.»

«It was a great place to stay. Across the street from a temple and large cemetery. Sweet residential neighborhood but close to lots of restaurants and a major shopping street. Easy walk to the train station. But we took a cab in and out with our luggage. So nice to have more space than a 120 sq ft hotel room for a similar price. The host was very responsive to questions.»

«Price is amazing and the town is very pretty with plenty of restaurants and major train station near by (6 minute walk). Place is clean and well kept. Mini fridge, electric stove and washer in the bathroom. The dryer option of the washer doesn’t work, so I wouldn’t even try. I ended up hanging the clothes on a clothes rack that’s provided for some of my laundry which was adequate. The property manager never took long to reply to any of my messages. We’ll definitely stay again on my next visit to ...

«Condensed version as forced to resubmit review. Property was changed from max 6 to 4 AFTER we booked. Beds supposedly for 2 were singles with 2 pillows. Toilet cannot be used by anyone much over 6' as two of us were. Condition questionable - broken interior door locks and holes/rips in doors. We could not stay, had to find hotels at the last minute.»

Shinjuku Granbell Hotel

Shinjuku Granbell Hotel

10/10 Utmerket
"Ingenting å si på dette stedet. Litt små rom men det visste vi fra før av fra bildene, i praksis var det ingen problem så lenge man pakker ned kofferten. Ypperlig frokost med fin utsikt. Ypperlig rooftop bar med fin utsikt. Verdi for pengene. Vil besøke igjen."
