«Attended a wedding in Crewkerne and stayed here for three days. No breakfast at the hotel, but there are grocery stores and a Wetherspoons right around the corner. Pizza Hut across the street. Good complimentary selection of instant coffee and tea, together with a kettle at the room. The standard of the building was a little bit old but perfectly decent, the room was reasonably spacious, and comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff! The Gainsborough Bath Spa

10/10 Utmerket

"We stayed at The Gainsborough as a family in late July, and the hotel was the perfect base for exploring Bath. The location is central, within easy walking distance of the Roman Baths, Thermae Bath Spa, the Royal Crescent and The Circus. The rooms were large, beautiful and well equipped, with plenty of space for a family. The service was outstanding throughout our stay, and breakfast was superb – Swiss-style service at its very best. The highlight was the Spa Village. The hotel has Bath's natural thermal water piped directly into the spa, and we used it twice. It was calm and beautiful, and in our view better than Thermae, which is much busier. Complimentary access for hotel guests in the morning and evening is a real bonus. Worth knowing for families: the spa has a strict 16+ age limit at all times, so children can't join. We simply took turns using the morning and evening sessions. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience Bath in style. Five stars."
