«It was easy to get to, and easy to go to anywhere we wanted. Clean and tidy = hot tub was great. Good to sit on the deck and watch the lake & relax. Everything we wanted or needed for meals was there. Enjoyed our time there. It is a large place inside so maybe best for a group [it was just us] but wasn't a problem at all.»

«Very clean and everything we needed. Walk to a French bakery or a Cafe for breakfast and walk to a brewery or restaurant in the evening. You also have the Cedar River with in walking distance. You can hear the power plant that’s close by at night. It quickly becomes slight background noise.»

«We've stayed here twice now and we absolutely love it. The lower level is perfect for kids to play and keeps the noise away from the adults upstairs. The pond in the backyard is great for fishing (we caught a few dozen) and the nearby water park is a hidden gem. It easily fit our 3 families with plenty of breathing room. We will definitely be returning!»

«This property was amazing. The pictures didn't do it justice. The owners were very helpful and got back to us quickly with any questions, even before our trip started. We had some rain and cooler temps, but that was ok as the pool is heated and there were plenty of activities inside. The beds were comfortable, the house well equipped with anything you might need. Highly recommend this property.»

«We found the booking, check-in, and check-out procedures so easy. The house was very clean with many extras. The location was quiet and yet close to much shopping as well as many restaurants and attractions. We will be looking at booking this same property in the future.»

«This home pretty much met all of our needs and was stocked with great supplies. Very spacious and incredible view of the Cedar River, which was serene and enchanting. It was nice to know the owners were nearby and very responsive. We will be frequent returnees as we have family there locally. «I have been staying at this historic place now for three straight years. Simply put there isn't a better place to stay on a vacation. The owners are the nicest people to work with, they treat you like family. They supply almost everything you need...just bring your suitcase because that is all you really need. This historic mill is quiet, except for the falls outside that put you to sleep or create a peaceful calm, it's always clean, and it's right downtown in Shell Rock. Look no further than ...
