«We stayed for 3 nights at the dark horse. Brittany was quick to reply to any questions I had. The beds were very comfortable. The suite was spacious. The shower has a gap at the bottom so at times the bath mat would get saturatrd causing my feet and floor to be wet. There was an extra bath mat to use so it was no big deal.Overall very good place to stay. We enjoyed our time and would come back again.»

«Extremely good value! Property as described-rustic and clean. Spacious and well stocked. Nice swimming spot in the river, too. The only reason I have not given it 5 stars all around is that none of the windows in the house can be opened (except one, right beside the door). On two days of our visit it was quite hot, and it was difficult to cool the house down. There were several fans which was nice-we just opened the door wide and ran the fans before bedtime. «Cannot say enough about how much we love this place. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay at Bear Mountain getaway. The check in was smooth. The room was incredible. The environment was outstanding. We had a rough schedule because of what we ended up doing there but at night we were at ease. Rested well then move onto next day of another adventure. We are so grateful that we chose this place to rest.»
