«Nice hotel in a lovely tropical garden. Peaceful and quiet. The food in the restaurant is tolerable, they even have wine. Fine rooms with balconies overlooking garden, a glimpse of the ocean from the second floor rooms. Helpful staff and a free shuttle service whenever you need to go to town. Nice pool, raised above the garden so there is a slight breeze. Hotel lounge chairs on the beach also. Beach too shallow for swimming, but you can walk along and look at the neighbouring concrete monster ...

«I'm not sure how to write a review of tge properly. Basic might do or even primative. Bed made strange noises, but so what, it was huge and very comfortable. Shower and toilet, old with peculiar plumbing but it all worked. Fabulous balcony. Not exactly pristine surroundings and was a bit muddy after rain, non of which killed anybody. Staff were brilliant. Was offered a coffee as soon as I arrived. Would come back like a shot.»

«Check-in was great. The reception was friendly and helpful with my ordering of grab food and transport the following day to the airport. First I requested to borrow an extension as there was no power outlet at the desk for me to charge my laptop. Thereafter, I was told none was available. I reported one of the ceiling lights is not functioning. Engineering came and checked, smiled, said okay, and left. Never to return. The shower fixture was leaking. Wall with holes were patched up by stuffing ...

«This was a beautiful stay in a family run beach side hotel. Our hosts were so friendly,food was great and the view was fabulous. Make sure you follow the instructions to contact the hotel before you turn up! Theres a fabulous way of getting there by boat or else you have to do what we did (as we didnt read the very clearly worded instructions) and you have to trek down the hill!»

«A great hotel/hostel a 10 minute walk from the waterfront. Good food and decent view. The staff are friendly and helpful. Loud until 10 or 11PM. It was a great value and I would stay here again if I went back to Labuan Bajo.»

«The staff are amazing -- everyone was incredibly helpful and professional. The room was good sized and very clean. The hotel grounds are lovely, with a very nice pool, private beach, and gardens. The breakfast buffet is varied and delicious, and the restaurant serves alcohol in the afternoon and evening. We liked the Jayakarta so much that we stayed there twice. We will happily stay there again on our next visit.»
